I have a question for you. Are the LSB and RSB assigned to functions by default and working in your game? I have the same wheel but playing on xbox one, but those 2 buttons aren't doing anything on my end, I know the reason why in my case but just curious about the PC version of the game if they work.

Same issue on XB1 and its a pretty big issue, it should be in the next patch for sure. Along with a sensitivity setting for steering.
