GIANTS Game Engine has stopped working

Hello all
I've just loaded game onto my laptop but when I try to play game is starts to say that game is loading but then says GIANTS game engine has stopped working and I have to X out of the game.
What can I do?

The Game is not really made for Laptop´s....What´s your Hardware like, RAM, Graphiccard etc..? Does it face the minimium requirements?

I'm having the same problem and have a very disappointed child. I don't have a laptop and a newer computer so I'm sure it meets all the minimum requirements.

Could you explain? I'm not too skilled with computers, but I did check it and it says that "Your PC currently has the latest driver installed for your GPU. No driver update is necessary at this time."

It seems a lot of people have this same problem. Why put out a game that can't be loaded and played on a new computer without running into problems like this? I don't mean to complain, but I have a very sad child that wanted this game more than anything and now he can't play it. Very frustrating!

Would I have more luck with one of the older versions?

Do you mean what kind of processor do I have? It's a Pentium Dual Core 2.8 Ghz, 6 GB Ram, 64-bit operating system. Or do you want something else?

im having the same problem!! i tryed it on my sisters laptop and it worked fine hers is a hp g62 and mine is a g61 ders not alot of differance it surely cant be dat my laptop is up 2 date enuf becos its only a few months old could someone please help!!

ive tred setting this up on my nephews laptop and it says the same problem any ideas as this laptop is less than a year old

This is your Problem, its only an Laptop Grafics. Look in Internet for newest Drivers of it.
Than the last Chance is in Options the settings for hardwareProfile to "low"
All other graficswitches in lowest positon.
Then good Luck for the Game.

The better Way?
Use a Dektop or Tower PC with Powerfull Grafics
Soory, but your minimum requirements of hardware is too low for teh Game.
