Problems with activating on steam

I have tried activating Farming simulator 2013 titanium on steam but it says the product code is invalid.

Where did you buy it? Only purchases on Steam and places where it says that it's selling Steam keys can be redeemed on Steam.

I got it on amazon on disc but not with titanium

I take it then that you bought Titanium on Steam? If so, then you have a problem because you can only buy addons on Steam for games you bought on Steam. It says so right on the store page. Unless of course you only have the disc from Amazon, in which case you just need to install it from the DVD. Now, if you DO have Titanium DLC purchased from anywhere but Steam, then you need to install the game first and then run the DLC installer.

I got titanium separate from titanium And I got it on the fs website

Then yes, you need to install Farming Simulator 2013 from the DVD that you got on Amazon and then download (if you haven't already) and install the Titanium DLC.

Well I was trying to type in the plain old fs activation key on steam but it said it was invalid

Wait, did you buy the Titanium DLC or the full game from the website? The Titanium DLC was put up for those people that purchased the game before Titanium came out, but there is also the version of FS13 that includes the game plus the DLC and it is also called Titanium. As for the activation key, you use that on GIANTS website at http://eshop.giants-software.com/downloads.php to download what you purchased.

You can forget about using Steam in any way to try and install, download or play this since you didn't buy it with that service.
