Patch 2.1.1 and Case Quadtrac 600 Sound

Post by Skunkworks »

Hi

In the release notes for patch 2.1.1 it states:

Tuned motor sound of CaseIH Quadtrac 600 (2.0)

I do hear no difference in what it was before...

Can you please clarify what was changed?

I was hoping for a beefier sound for the engine.

Thanks,
G

If you had the manual ignition mod, before you had the engine turned on, there was a sound like a fan in the A/C or the engine cooling fan that would run. I think they just removed that sound completely, whether you had the manual ignition mod or not, on or off.

Hope the clears it up a little for you.

The number in the braces at the end say in which patch this was changed. So the motor sound was changed with the Patch 2.0 release. If you only updated from 2.1 to 2.1.1 or from 2.0 to 2.1.1. you won't hear any difference.

I am not really sure I understand why I don't hear the difference. I have the steam version and surely the patches are installed sequentially meaning that I should have the updated sound.

I take it it is a minor change and does not really change the sound from the release version of the game.

Thanks anyway,
G
