Giants Engine has stopped working.

hello. I have been playing FS 13 on my lap top for almost a year now and all of a sudden the Giants Engine has stopped working. I have not changed any of the settings or anything? MY logs are clean. I am running on a Windows 8.1 laptop with a nivinia graphics card. I was playing earlier in the day and everything seemed ok now it wont work at all please help!

i just deleted the whole game and restarted from the beginning and it still does not work ?

a friend of mine has the same issue also. Are you guys using STEAM?

And does your log look like this by any chance?

Hi, for me it's the same. Everything was fine yesterday. Today FS is not working. Reinstallation does not work, and I use Steam. And the log shows the same like the one above.

Yep, using Steam and log looks exactly the same. It looks like a Steam update has messed something up but how to get it unmessed is the question.

found a solution. seems to be an issue with the Steam Beta. You have to sign out the Steam beta (not FS13 Beta, but the Beta of the Steamclient) after that my FS13 is runnig fine again.

I'm experiencing crashing as well, however I do not have the Steam version. I do have Steam installed but I checked and I was already opted out of all betas.

My game was working fine 2 days ago, but every time I try loading into the game I crash. I noticed an error message box behind the game that says:



I've tried restarting, setting settings to low and disabling all mods.

I can be a little inexperienced, but does that look like an error related more to the graphics driver or something and not directly tied to FS2013 itself? Do you have the latest official graphics drivers for your graphics card, brack?

Yeah thats actually what it was. I did a clean install a week ago but something must have gone wrong because another clean install seems to have fixed it.
