Recording with Dxtory drastically reduces frame rates

I use Dxtory to record games such as Arma 3, Assassins Creed Black Flag, FS13, etc. When I record Arma and AC, which are far more demanding on the hardware, I get a small frame rate drop around 3 or 4 fps. When I record FS13 I get a drop of about 45 fps that makes it unplayable. Does anyone know why that might be?

Sounds like a tool for screen recoring DirectX applications. FS uses OpenGL.
