How to update farming simulator for mac

I am having trouble updating my mac OSX version of FS 13 to the 2.0 patch. I purchesed the game through farming-simulator.com before it was released on the app store. the updates page of the website says that the mac OSX version will update automaticly but it has not done so. What can i do to correctly update my game?

The usual cause why you don't get prompted for the update is that you previously selected the "Not Yet" button when the game informed you that an update was available and asked you if you wanted to install the update.

To fix this please check if the "Library/Preferences" folder in your user homedir (the same "Library" folder that also contains the "Application Support/FarmingSimulator2013" folder) contains the following file:

com.focus-home.farmingsim2013.plist

(If you are using Mac OS X 10.7 or newer the "Library" folder in your homedir is hidden by default. Please check http://osxdaily.com/2013/10/28/show-use ... mavericks/ for tips on how to access it anyway)

If the file exists, please remove it and then start FS13. Hopefully you will then be prompted for the update again.

@mccoloch: before trying to unpack the ZIP file of the update, please try the trick with removing the "com.focus-home.farmingsim2013.plist" file.

Are you sure that you don't already have the latest version of the game installed? Can you post the "log.txt" (see http://wiki.landwirtschafts-simulator.d ... tig_posten) so that we can verify which version you are currently running?
