forage wagon function

I noticed that the lowest priced forage wagon has a "open/close" function for the flap t the front of the trailer.
Its the lowest priced green and white forage wagon that holds 44XXX (I think) units.

What is this for?

Folding front flap
The top section of the headboard folds down 90° to provide for easier loading from the forage harvester. It is in vertical position when the wagon is running alongside the forager and inclines to rear when operating as a self-loading forage wagon.
