Oakfield Farm
Oakfield Farm
If you haven't seen it yet check out Landykid firstlook on youtube - another OxygenDave map - looks v.good.
Re: Oakfield Farm
Looks amazing. Another reason to get a high end PC. Hopefully santa is going to be good to me this year lol.
One thing I really picked up on which I liked is having invisible map boundaries, so it looks like the map just continues on. I've often wondered why more maps don't do that. The wall of trees approach breaks the illusion I think.

OxygenDavid has optimised this map very well, I have a 1080 and get well over 60fps and someone else with a 970 the same.
Re: Oakfield Farm
Sounds good. I do want to get quite a high end PC. I'm due a new computer and I've mainly been a Mac user but I don't have much against switching back to PC. Since playing FS in native 4K on my PS4 Pro I'm now really into 4K gaming. The rig I've got my eye on has a GTX 1080Ti with an i5 processor.
Re: Oakfield Farm
With all of these fantastic maps coming out I’m struggling to find a reason to buy farming simulator 19 on console, only reason I would is if it had seasons!

Stunning as usual. Somthing to look forward to in the new year. Thanks for the extra effort to bring it to consoles. On Xbox one and PS4.

Re: Oakfield Farm
Seen some of the first looks, I can describe how good it looks my only qualm is big fields, but that lets me use the 10.90 which is never a bad thing in my books! On the subject of optimisation though how's it likely to hold up on a lower end rig?
Optimist: Glass is half full
Pessimist: Glass is half empty
Engineer: The glass is twice the size it needs to be!
PC Specs (upgraded at last!): Acer Orion 3000; i5-8400, 8Gb Ram, GTX 1050ti, Intel Optane 16gb
