Re: Bale in the shop showroom??
I have a six pallet spawner submitted to the Modhub with a basic sellpoint included. Doubt it will pass, so I will probably just release it myself when I hear back from them.

I had it in my first game, but in my second one I haven't it. Look, is not so bad, you can see the size of the machines (with the scale of the bale)
I'm playing in a Hp pavilion gaming laptop: Core i5 10300H, Nvidia Gtx 1650, 8 gb RAM

Re: Bale in the shop showroom??
After producing bales on the farm I had the same - bale in the showroom
While I was looking for something to do the sugar beet in the showroom the bale disappeared
No more bale in the showroom
Try just looking for a large vehicle and see if that removes the bales

If you don't mind editing xml files, you can open the items.xml file in your save game folder and remove the bales there. It stores all bales on the map, not just these out of place bales so it works best if you don't have bales elsewhere so you can just delete them all. Otherwise you can try to find ones where the position value isn't near the others. Be sure to back up your save if you try this!
Re: Bale in the shop showroom??
Just curious, has anyone tried grabbing a bale wrapper and seeing if it will pick it up and wrap it? Then it should be on top of the floor an able to be moved after being wrapped right?
Has anybody tried an autoload bale trailer?

Re: Bale in the shop showroom??
Console can't edit files, so we are stuck with it until someone pulls their head out.

Re: Bale in the shop showroom??
Bales also show up in shop if you use Vicon Fastbale
Re: Bale in the shop showroom??
Just started getting this sh!tstorm after doing some baling. Giant needs to get it's finger out of it's backside and fix this, and the annoying "field needs rolling" bug.
I currently have about 20 of these damn things in the shop, makes using the shop almost impossible.
I've spent a lot of time on this save, I really don't want to start again <sigh>.
Oh for the good old days when s/w wasn't released full of bugs.....

Re: Bale in the shop showroom??
This is actually pretty easy. You can identify the showroom bales by the position values. The middle value is the height of an object, and, at least on Elmcreek, the value of bales in the showroom will be a negative number. Most of mine were around -99. The height of ground level on Elmcreek is around 85 at the main farm. A showroom bale will look something like this:coleislazy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 4:55 pm If you don't mind editing xml files, you can open the items.xml file in your save game folder and remove the bales there. <item className="Bale" id="3" filename="data/objects/roundbales/roundbale125.xml" position="1.2988694906235 -99.375160217285 1.2495177984238" rotation="2.2919858757703 2.28976606429 45.045322972477" valueScale="1.000000" fillLevel="5000.000000" fillType="STRAW" farmId="1" isMissionBale="false" wrappingState="0.000000" wrappingColor="1 1 1 1"/>
Delete the whole line of code (<item ... />). And, of course, back up your save before editing anything.
There’s no place like utopia.
