Cannot give back to the shop an equipment rented by someone else in multi

Hi there, I created a multi session (PS4), a player rented a *lot* of useless equipments which are now on the shop parking (map Elmcreek), but when I check my "rented equipments list" back to a solo session, it is empty, and when I come close to any, there is however a message : "Rented by you". How can I give up with these, please ? Thanks.

If it is rented in multiplayer, shouldn't you return it in multiplayer also?

Well, when the Folk left, I tried to but nothing happened. Same behaviour.
Maybe he was the only one able to give it back.
If so, this looks like a bug to me.
