Combine attachment

Post by fermer-giles »

While looking through the many mods on different site's.
I am sure that I seen a modified combine with an attachment on the back that allow's you to attach a baler or forage trailer while cutting.

Am I right in thinking this or am I in a world of fantasy? :confusednew:

If this mod does exist you someone please let me know where I could download it from.

Many thanks

I have seen it somewhere as well, though I would think having a harvester towing either of those implements would be a world of fantasy ... but I'm no farmer so maybe it's possible

I can't find it at the moment, but if your goal is to save some time, try the "Follow Me" mod http://fs-uk.com/mods/view/29501

I have seen that somewhere too, maybe it was for FS2011 cant remember.

I have seen harvesters here in Australia with a baler behind it, this was a New Holland combine and baler.
We also have what is called a chaff cart, which is something similar to a forage trailer. The harvester has a blower attached to the back of it to catch the chaff and staw and throw it into the cart being towed behind the harvester. At the end of the paddock you bump it into piles to burn later on.

So, no it's not in a world of fantasy, it's possible.

Here is one type chaff cart: http://www.trufabengineering.com.au/agr ... carts.html
and there are a couple of other manufactures that make them too.

Edit:
And the poster above beat me to it. lol
