How do I normally shut down the FS13?

I have a Win7 computer, the FS disc goes in and starts up, I get into career, but when its time to close up, there is no way to exit. I don't see how to get out of the game and onto the panel that allows you to "Quit". I have been exiting the disc, then hitting the "Start" Windows button to get out of the game, after stopping all vehicles and exiting the last one I am in. I hit escape and save... but there's no way to exit. You can Abort Game or Return to the game.

i go out with ESC, SAVE, ABORT

i go out with ESC, SAVE, ABORT,,,
then youll be back at the menu page and then HIT quit button and OFF you go ...
If you dont want to save the last doing on your farm ,, HIT ABORT,, it will be asking you if your sure that you want to leave with out saving the game,,, if that is your choice not to save ,,, HIT YES and OFF you go and the game will close and back to your desk on PC it will come to ...
