crops not growing

Ok new to this so was wondering why my crops dont grow after switching from this game to another app on my tablet. Seems that the game has to be open at all times or your crops wont grow. When I switch to say facebook or another game and the game isnt up on the screen everything stops growing. Why is this and is there away around it. Game is getting old cause I cant use my tablet for anything else if I want my crops to grow.

I could be wrong but I don't think the game can run in the background. If the game window is not open than time doesn't pass and crops will not grow.

Ok thanks.. that kinda stinks cause it makes the game boring when you have nothing else to do..

When it gets boring speed the time up until there is something that needs to be done.

On PC use 8 to speed it up and 7 to slow it. Can't help you on your tablet though. You might have to check your settings or options.

Ya there is no speed setting on the mobile that I could find.
