Hey all.
Got given some 2nd hand pc parts today from a work mate. Unsure on what the 2 graphic cards he gave me are. Is it safe to plug them into my pc , and test them , see if there better than what i already have , or is it best to throw caution to the wind , and just stick with the card i have? Will putting an unknown card into my macxhine somehow have the potential to break my pc. Would of put them into another pc , but sadly i recently sold my other pc , so only have the main one now.

Re: New pc parts
i wouldn't worry too much about them breaking your pc but you should ask him if they work fine or have any issues to be safe.
you need to tell us what your current video card is and which ones he gave you to see if it's an upgrade or downgrade. longer video cards will not always fit in certain cases and you would have to get a case that has enough length for it to fit so keep that in mind.

Re: New pc parts
What Wilmer007 said, in sentence one. Also, please tell us what your current GPU is now, and the one you got. Yes keep the length in mind, in my case, I don't think I would be able to get a triple fan, case is big, but not big enough Haven't tried it yet, but I can just picture the crampness right now.
