Re: John Deere Forage Harvester? How likely?

I'd say so. Just like with the JD cotton harvester that should've been in the base game, they'll likely milk every cent they can out of FS19 and green machines while they can.

Re: what do you think giants will do next

Nope. The green tractor on the cover sold more copies than a more in-depth, realistic game ever will. There aren't enough "hard-core" players to justify Giants putting a ton of their effort into making a farming simulator. It's an equipment operating arcade game. It's fun, playable, and not too hard...

Re: Loneoak in testing

What is the reason seasons isnt a basic option In the start menu from day one? Because Giants' main focus is selling games. While I would personally rather have an in-depth game with less or fictional brands (not that I don't love the diversity we have), most FS purchasers buy the game to drive a J...

Re: If I had one critique of the game, trees.

Yes it's draw distance and it affects how well the game runs. I'll take invisible trees over even lower frame rates.

Of course, if I had only one critique of the game, I would probably play it more.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

What I would kill for though is a map modeled after the games cover art. Those maps would look insane and I think for the next game giants should model a map like they show on the covers and in the CGI trailers. Yeah no kidding! They put the stereotypical US farm on the cover and in the trailers an...

Re: BEET'S & POTATO'S

I thought there was a 6m harvester. I guess I've not done beets in 19. When I did them before I had one tractor to unload into and would dump at the end of the field. Once a field was finished, I used the big beet loader thing to load my truck to take them to sell. Now I want to do beets again...

I was just looking for a new map as Pacific NW is getting old. Now I shall hold out for Loneoak.

Looking doing beets, but the equipment is seriously not adequate enough to sit and do them on your own
Hmm... I've never had a problem with them. They're among the largest beet harvesting machines in the world unless you're looking for an unrealistic OP thing that holds 100,000l.

Re: Map updates for seasons on console

We're just seeing maps that are on both PC and console getting patched for seasons to work on PC. I wouldn't get too excited yet. (although I'm excited)

Re: Seasons question. Baling silage contracts

You don't wait for it to turn to silage on console. The OP is on console. You also will usually get quite a bit of extra money selling the few extra bales after the contract is complete.

Re: Should I go with PC version of FS19?

Yes you should. As long as you're somewhat tech-savvy and don't mind the occasional troubleshooting session, PC is the way to go.

FWIW, I've played on both and went from PC to console. I enjoy both platforms.

Re: Advantages Of Bailing?

If you're only bailing to sell silage and straw and not feeding, it's a lot faster to bale. A baler/wrapper combo is basically a money printing machine and even though it can get tedious, it's still much faster than packing in a bunker, fermenting, and selling loose silage. And the Anderson 24 round...

Re: John Deere S790 - Console slot count - Can we get clarification

I don't understand why everyone automatically thinks the worse from Giants Because when companies have good news (ie: lower slot count) they'll put it out every way possible to attract new fans and build goodwill with existing customers. When a company screws up and has to backpedal in a way that w...

Re: Let’s go back in time

This was begged for in FS17 too and it just didn't happen. Polls, mod requests, etc... Giants is focused on modern farming.
