Re: ATTN: Giants. Feature request, multiple mod folders.
I've already made use of links (my PC is Win10 for gaming, my laptop is Linux Mint) for other programs. Wasn't aware you could have a single link point to multiple folders. Or are you using multiple links all named "mods" pointing to each sub-folder? Could you post a quick run down of how yours is s...

ATTN: Giants. Feature request, multiple mod folders.
I'm about to do an long and tedious task. Go through all of my mods, delete the ones I don't use and then edit the ones I want to keep to include features like strap support (as per Iconik's Strap-It tutorial) and seasons support as well as configure / fix the controls on some vehicles to use the co...

Re: Platform change
Steam has it's advantages. I personally dislike it. I buy FS direct from Giants because I figure more of my money will go to them to help make it a better product. Losing your key could be a problem, but I've never had it. I use Gmail and don't delete emails. A quick search for "Giants" brings my se...

Re: Remove Constraints
Ark (a 1st person PvP game with base building) has an option when you place something to pick it up again within 30 seconds. Just enough time to check it's placement etc. Maybe that could be an easy option. If you sell it within 2 minutes real world time (without using any features of it like the ga...

Re: Seasons 19 WIP Updates
It may be against TOS to sell mods.
HOWEVER you can a person to hire somebody to create a specific mod, whether that mod remains a private mod or is released to the public is up to the hiring agent.

Re: Seasons 19 WIP Updates
If you are happy to pay for a small mod, why aren't you happy to pay for a PC where you can do what you want plus more?

Re: Ponsse Scorpion King - Header question
The default one, NO you can't. However there has been mods released for PC that allow for head tilting and longer cuts. I haven't seen one yet, but in FS17 there was versions that allowed for grabbing manually. Most just re-positioned the jaws to a more open position when "turned off", there was one...

Re: FS 19 Steering wheel returning slow
I have all my settings correct, there IS lag when turning the wheels in either direction (away or back toward center). I can spin my G29 to full rotation lock (on 900 degrees setting) and in game the tractors wheels are still catching up. It's not a sensitivity, dead zone or range of movement issue,...

Are you sure it's not the same? Are you thinking of Cat's Grade Control?

In game operation has ALWAYS been deprived of depth information, but it's still workable.

Re: Seasons
Aside of the fun (and pain) of snow and the overall realism it brings, it's the little things. Having to plan ahead instead of just planting randomly. Eg, if you have animals, expect that you can't harvest feed (including grass) during the winter, so you need to stock up hard in the summer and store...

Re: Remove bushes?
I was going to refer to the same post that W1der did, but I will explain it a bit more.
The mod allows seeders to plant grass anywhere. As it sows grass, it ALSO removes bushes.
Sowing grass outside of a field was good enough for me, but this surprise feature is very much welcomed.

Re: Extend crane arm
As said, the Easy Arm setting changes it from individual controls for each function to a intelligent computer controlled mode where you effectively point where you want the implement to go. Makes it easier for mouse / keyboard users to keep up with us overkill geeks with dual joystick set ups. Also,...

Re: Wild Grass for FS19
You don't need to plough, or roll or anything special before use. It maintains the current ground textures (so you can plant grass on concrete). It sets the grass at level 2 I believe, so you can instantly see where you've planted it. It doesn't over write other crops longer grass. It does remove bu...

Re: What is Mesh Tessellation Volume?
I do believe it affects windrows, tipped grain etc.
Allows it to have more detail, be smoother etc.
