Re: CoursePlay
I hope I understood it correctly that others are welcome to ask questions about Courseplay. I have tried to plow a field using Courseplay. It seems to work best if you work the center first and the headland last. But when Courseplay gets started on the headland, it will always turn the dirt towards...

Re: Ballyspring
Ballyspring has both extended animals and crops. So, like Hof Bergmann, it is a bit special. It may be challenged by any mod competing for settings of animals and crops. Ballyspring has much of the features, if not all, of what you get with EnhancedAnimalSystem. I recently adapted RealLifeNumbers to...

Re: Ballyspring update
Same combo as PlayStation I imagine? LB and Down? Thank you Guil. That worked for fences. I could not remove gates this way. Is that just me who can't find the trigger? The fantastic feature of distinct age groups for the animals begs for separate pens for sows/piglets/porkers and cows/heifers/calv...

Re: Ballyspring update
BallySpring has some very nice features, in particuler multifruit and multianimals. In an effort to update RealLifeNumbers to the new map version, I noticed that Jersey, Angus, and Hereford bulls are set to produce milk from month 22. Holstein and Jersey cows has a 3-month dry period before calving....

Re: Ballyspring animals
I have not played it enough to see if animals grow in shape and size. MrSealyP has a YouTube map tour. He plays on a consol. But maybe he had an early version. I can't say.

Re: Grazzing animals in pure health on Ballam Road
The animals in the fields were only placed at the end of making the map so therefore the health rating is low but it will rise as the feed in the troughs in Hay which has a 80% rating, once the cows start getting through the hay you can start to top it up with tmr but as for maise plus, I know noth...

Grazzing animals in poor health on Ballam Road
I play on the map Ballam Road. It has this interesting feature that the grazzing animals can eat the grass in the pasture and you do not need to feed them, - I think. Any attempt to fill the trough with TMR does not show up in the animal menu, or it is converted to roughage. All animals in the pastu...

Re: How to change the amount of wood chips?
Trees are managed by the g_splitTypeManager. I have not yet seen any files in my savegames concerning trees. But I don't do forestry in my plays, som I've not been looking for it. In my mod, RealLifeNumbers, one script redefines the value of a parameter called woodChipsPerLiter if g_splitTypeManager...

Re: Why no manure from sheep and horses?
Indeed kahfs, I don't play Hof Bergmann very much but I remember that. So, it can be done.... Yes, but I don't know how many steps there is to it. Certainly the pen must be prepared for manure, and then you need to edit the animal.xml file coming with the map. There is the default in-game version, ...

Re: Why no manure from sheep and horses?
Hof Bergmann (Farmer Andy) and Wild West (cazz64) are two examples of maps where horses and chickens produce manure.

Re: Tractor shifting gear like a race car
Unfortunately, it is how it is. I made a similar post yesterday on discord how tractors will raise RPM between gear change and i was looking for a fix, but none exist. You can edit in xml gearchangetime="desired number" and increase it to 2-3 seconds, then tractor will take 2-3 seconds be...

Tractor shifting gear like a race car
Hello all, Please refresh my memory. After a gaming break I'm back and it is spring time so I need to cultivate the fields. I'm puzled how my Fendt Favorit 515C keeps changing gears at the beginning of a pass with a cultivator, going from 2nd to 5th gear. Has it always been like this? I've removed a...
