Re: Coldborough Park Farm v3 (Seasons)

Does anyone know if CPF v3 update is going to come to consoles? Thrilled to see the seasons compatible update, just curious if it will come to consoles.

Re: [FS17] Coldborough Park Farm Map Feedback

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered before, I couldn’t find an answer. Will there be a CPF version compatible with both seasons AND console? As far as I can tell v3 is seasons compatible, but only for PC. Would absolutely love a console seasons version, CPF is still my favorite map. Thanks.

Re: [SOLVED] Big Bud DLC Great Plains YP-2425A Sowing Machine Issue

Giants acknowledged the Great Plains sower has a poor hitch that limited the turning radius with the sower, sounds like they were given some incorrect data. That’s fine, mistakes happen. But I haven’t heard any news that they were planning to patch the Big Bud DLC, to address a number of issues. Tha...

Re: Seasons mod.

trying to sort out a question about the in-game sell pricing, specifically for silage. Playing a new game on GCV, the in-game price menu stated around $400/1000 for silage, yet when I sold my silage bales they were less than $800/bale. Fully fermented, 4000#/each should net me around $1600/bale bas...

Re: [SOLVED] Big Bud DLC Great Plains YP-2425A Sowing Machine Issue

How can this be marked SOLVED when this issue clearly hasn't been addressed? Yes, this has been reported in another thread(s), along with the issues involving filling the Seed Hawk and Terminator sowers, none of which have been solved to my knowledge. Would love to see these issues resolved, especia...

Re: Seasons mod.

just started playing, seriously very cool you guys brought this to console. I have a question regarding silage bales. I wrapped a bunch, waited for them to ferment, confirmed this with the wopstr tool, and then sold then at my barn. Playing a new save game on GCV. Each bale sold for just under $800/...

Just can’t see how these “small issues” are allowed to remain. Especially when combined with so many other “small issues” is making me put my money elsewhere. So long Giants.

Re: [KNOWN ISSUE] Great Plains YP2425

Well I will just add my dissatisfaction to this as well. Bought the Big Bud DLC, and have dealt with bad turning radius for the Great Plains sower, weird behavior with the largest of the cultivators, been unable to fill the terminator and seed hawk sowers the way they should be able to be filled, an...

Re: Advice for loading round bales

I use the 8 bale arcusin loader and pick them all up and stack at the side of the field. Then when I have time to haul away for sale I use the fork cotech with claws on my loader to load the bales, 4 at a time, onto the back of the Joskin Wago loader trailer. That trailer has ramps on back to drive ...

Re: big bud patch abandoned.

Annoying enough that I use equipment from base game rather than from the DLC, which I purchased. Disappointed, would rather use the new equipment the way it was intended, and I believe they should fix it. I won't purchase another DLC until then. Not mad, just not gonna spend my good money if the pri...

Re: big bud patch abandoned.

The Large sowers don't refill as expected, and Great Plains sower has a very poor turning radius, missing a critical part of its hitch.

Re: Self Propelled mowers/windrowers (Please Giants or Modders)

Yes, but with larger header and hydrostatic steering like the bobcats or MT800 Challenger tracked. IRL, windrowers/swathers are amazingly fast on the corners and bring a large swath of grass into a single windrow. Would love to see a couple of these in game.

Re: Animal farming

OK so I'm NOT supposed to use grass fields on Thornton farm, I'm supposed to plant one my self? You can absolutely use them, but you will get better yield from planted grass fields that allow fertilization. I am in lawfolds and have cows and sheep to feed. I am using the large meadow to the south, ...

Re: Swathers anybody?

Swather headers are very similar to combine headers. Primary difference is they consolidate the crop and spit it out the back in a large windrow rather to feeding it into the combine. Here in the western US, this is about all I see are swathers. They are fast, turn on a dime, and have a large workin...
