Re: Snowrunner

Been enjoying this a whole lot more since more mods have started to come out. Has anyone experienced a bug where by none of the trailers attach and you can't buy any from the trailer store?

Re: Reshade

I can get the Nvidea shaders working on my Steam version. They're pretty gimmicky though and not really worth it. The Re-shade package is much better.

Re: Reshade

Anyone using the Reshade program? I've got the full Re-shade bundle of shaders. The Lightroom shader is good for adjusting the colours and dialling away that horrible washed out look of the vanilla game. You can use it to saturate the blue sky more to got a more realistic hue plus I vignette the pic...

Re: fs17 revisited

I always think games succeed the most when they focus on appealing to their core fanbase rather than spreading themselves too thinly trying to appease everyone. Giants should really think about that because FS-19 fell into that trap I think. If they focused on pleasing people who play the game a lot...

Re: PC Negatives

The new colour swatch system in FS-19 opened a Pandoras box in the modding community for colour variations on tractors and combines. Want the option to have a luminous pink New Holland T7 with luminous purple wheels? No problem there's at least 100 of them clogging up mod sites. I get the impression...

Re: PC Negatives

When I moved from console to PC one of the things I was really looking forward to trying out were the big X4 maps. For me though the novelty soon wore off. Many of them lack the attention to detail I like and the few that do have a nice realistic feel to them just become really boring. Even with the...

Re: PC Negatives

If you're moving from console to PC one thing you'll notice pretty quickly, especially as far as maps is concerned is that quantity massively outweighs quality. With FS-17 there were a lot of really great mod maps that never made their way onto console for you to discover. With FS-19, for whatever r...

Re: PC Negatives

I moved from console to PC and there is a bit of an argument in favour of consoles in that console players definitely make do with getting a lot more out of a lot less. Its a simpler experience on console so you end up playing the game more I think. I moved from console to PC during the FS-17 days w...

Re: fs17 revisited

GIANTS don't view it as a priority for modders to have a proper Blender Exporter. If that is their attitude with something vital like that, how can we expect them to help modders in other ways. Farm Sim to GIANTS is a casual, arcade game, little more than an Agriculture showroom demo. At least that...

Re: fs17 revisited

Either way a decent map border takes a lot of work, and it seems Fs19 map makers are either incapable or just can't be bothered. I've sometimes wondered what tools Giants could provide to help make decent map borders. For example could they add something into the Giants editor to make bespoke borde...

Re: fs17 revisited

Whatever the reasons or motives its a shame as a good map border makes a map feel so much better. Its the number one most important thing I look for in a map. How immersive is it and does it make me feel like I'm in a living breathing world and part of larger area? It does seem like I'm in the mino...

Re: fs17 revisited

I'm going to get shot down in flames for this but I wouldn't mind in the slightest if Giants removed all the forestry side of the game and replaced it with much more involved livestock farming. Giants could do well just making a Forestry Simulator game and having it as a stand alone franchise. (runs...

Re: fs17 revisited

For example, you can get the game SnowRunner, there are 3 different seasons already included and they look fantastic, most of the time i enjoy the nature in this game, than gameplay itself. Michigan for Autumn Alaska for Winter Taymyr for Summer Go check out 4k videos inside youtube about gameplay ...

Re: fs17 revisited

What I feel personally is I'm stuck in the middle. Fs17 feels and looks dated, plus It misses some of the few good new features of Fs19. But Fs19 is not balanced, and is missing so much of what made Fs17 great. In some cases it's gone backwards. Neither game is good enough anymore. What depresses m...

Re: fs21

If todays leak is correct - that the PS5 is going to priced at £599 -then maybe people will be playing games on the current gen consoles for quite a while.
