Re: New mods for FS17?

Bulletbill had released a few this year. They are on simplysafemods.com. Otherwise it looks to me like the modding scene for 17 has basically stopped. Which is a shame, since it is a better game than 19  Yup, got everything from there since the first day it was up. :biggrin2: Surely BulletBill...

Re: FS17 mods for realism

Stubble Cultivator mod is just here. https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.php?lang=en&country=gb&mod_id=141214&title=fs2019 If you want FS17 version it was on fs-uk but I can send you a link. I would be greatful for that! Found on some shady mod site, but I do not want to support those by d/l it f...

Re: FS17 mods for realism

Thanks for your answers! I remember seeing ProSeed in the ModHub long ago. The author of the mod didn't bother to spend a few minutes to write a description of what the mod actually does, so I skipped it... :confusednew: Stubble Cultivator is something I totally missed and it sounds interesting! Hav...

Re: BGA Silage clearance

I remember seeing this on a FS17 map I played years ago... Was it Lossberg, maybe...? Anyway, I emptied the silo with the tractor+shovel, but the menu still said it contained some silage. Found out that some grass had leaked to the outside of the concrete wall, and turned into silage along with the ...

FS17 mods for realism

Well... 3 1/2 years later and FS17 is still a great game. But I wouldn't be playing it without the mods. I thought I list some of the mods I have installed. This is not about machinery or placeable, but rather the mods that to me adds to realism and a better gameplay experience. Here we go... adBlue...

Re: fs17 revisited

For some reason I come to think about something from some research material about using games for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) learning in schools (about age 7-15). They asked what's makes a game good. Realistic graphics? Immersive sound? Interesting gameplay? Nope... It w...

Re: fs17 revisited

I dunno how profitable is for giants that they are spending resources for consoles and phones. Highly profitable, I would guess. Looking around here, hardly any kid/teen game on 'PC' anymore (they don't even care about having one - to them, the iPad is 'the computer'). They game on console at home ...

Questions for the real-life farmers who play FS

Some of you who play FS also farm in real life. Maybe you have a small hobby farm outside your regular job, maybe run your own farm full-time, maybe you help out at your family's farm, maybe you work at someones farm... Whatever the situation, I'm interested in what you think about FS. 1) How do you...

Re: fs17 revisited

I can't think of any franchise that has successfully maintained separate pc and console lines? Years since I followd and tried to keep up with the gaming arena... Only 'serious' gaming is FS and F1 on my Mac. So yeah, maybe it has not been done with any success? I see this FS as a game idea with a ...

Re: fs17 revisited

I know FS19 felt rushed (from the outside at least) but it's like devs or team leaders weren't talking to each other or listening to QA and other staff so the graphics in the end ended up a poorly balanced mish-mash. Instead GIANTS seem to lack communication between departments, and seem to have st...

Re: fs17 revisited

Look and feel is something very subjective. To me, FS19 (at least in GIANTs marketing before the release) looked very nice and realistic. But when I see it myself on my own screen, it is like something totally different. And when I try to actually play the game, I have to turn down the settings so m...

Logitech G27 wheel. I use it for steering, switching between vehicles, hand-break, and changing driving direction. Logitech Heavy Equipment Bundle pedals. To the right of the wheel: Logitech Heavy Equipment Bundle side panel. Cruise control (incl. CC Addon mod), camera (forward/backward, zoom in/out...

Re: Frontier design

I can't replicate my first test with 6 sheeps on Strumble that for some reason seemed to be OK, and I deleted that test. Maybe I did miss something there... :confusednew: So I ran it again together with some others. I see a patterns now no matter what animals I buy or in what order I buy them or whe...
