Cows and zero grazing

I have noticed a lot of the Europian maps have no grazing areas for cows, or if they do they are very small. Is this how things are on dairy farms outside the UK? zero-grazing is rare here because the welfare of the animal is extremely important to people in the UK. Usually, they are kept in for the...

Re: FS19 Disappointing

I HATE FS19.
It's by far the worst FS game so far.
If you are new to farming simulator, ignore FS19 and go for FS17 or even 15. Anything but this rubbish.

About this grass on fs 19

The grass textures on fs 15 are much closer to reality than fs 19. Iv played both in the last 30 mins to try and prove to myself that im wrong but iv failed. If you have worked on a farm cutting silage you will know what i mean. Is there any way to make the grass longer and thicker? look at the spac...

fs15 was better when it come to .......

......cutting grass for silage. If you like me spend time in the real world cutting silage you will know what I'm talking about. In Fs 19 the grass textures are a huge step backwards. Fs 19 is like a cartoon. You spend ages ploughing, drilling and then spraying the fields to get a good crop but end ...

Re: Fs17

I still play fs15 :)
Much better maps available IMO. They don't feel perfect. like they have been rolled off a production like. Then there's the soil mod which I love along with beef rearing.
I also love the grass textures.

Cows in for the winter

I don't know how it's done around the world but in the UK cows are taken indoors for the winter. This adds more pressure of farmers with feeding and cleaning etc. Summertime is spent getting ready for this so it is essential the farmer has enough silage and other feed to keep the cows going for the ...

Re: Does money cheat ruin your game ?

Iv never used cheats like that tbh.
However, I do find myself editing sell point files to give crops a much higher price. Sometimes I also give myself the odd field or a few million on the save files.

I do wish i didn't start doing this though :(

Re: Looking for a good seasons ready map

You could have a go at making a map Seasons-ready in GE? It's not very hard and quite fun. I *think* that as long as it's a private edit you're okay to do that. What makes a "good" UK map? For me it's proper shaped fields (no squares), farm lanes, small buildings and tidy headlands (although I'll p...

Looking for a good seasons ready map

Are there any decent seasons ready British maps out there that aren't Marwell or Oakfield?
Iv played the life out of them and lone oak.

FS15 was the best for UK maps :)

Anyone still playing fs15??

The last few days iv been playing fs15 and i got to say i like it more than fs19.
The maps available are far better than anything for fs17 or 19. I also love the soil mod and beef and pig fattening .
Anyone else on play fs15 now and then? :)

Re: Next anticipated map?

I would love to see some of the old classics like.
Ventonwyn Estate
Cennen Valley
Knaveswell
court farms

I dunno if anyone is working on any of those ?
