Re: Railway empire
Ya, I think so, but I haven't tried that yet. That was in the mod before the Mexico dlc. They added full east to west coast map.

Re: Railway empire
Eric, I'm not sure how to provide a link. The community is on the PS4 community. The name of the community is Railroad Empire. I think you have to be on a PS4 and then use the community "app" and search for railroad Empire. There are probably a few with similar names by now.

Re: Railway empire
There are a few. I started a PS4 community when it was released and there are 100 plus members with some fair activity. Jim

Re: Cows
That is sort of what I thought. I guess it was seasons that introduced a discontinuity with disappearing grass bales and the need to store them since with winter there won't be any other way to harvest grass for the cows.

Re: Cows
So I am still a bit confused. Do you need a mod silo to store grass? I am fully aware of how grass bales disappear even when stored inside. So how do I feed grass all winter without using a mod silo? Sorry for being a bit dense...

Re: Ive been playing on Altenstein
Ya, Altenstein is my favorite map. I think the vast majority of players like the larger equipment and larger maps and Altenstein gets ignored, but it has a feel that no other map has ever done for me. I keep 50-60 head of cattle and a few sheep. I would do pigs if there were a mixing plant or wagon ...

Re: Altenstein Seasons Ready?
Guil, I'm not putting grass in a mixer. I have typically put grass in the feed trough that is next to the cow pasture on Altenstein.
I think the discussion is helping me understand, thanks guys!

Re: Altenstein Seasons Ready?
Although, when you read the animals screen, it says 20% Grass. I'm not positive yet since I'm not sure I ever tried to put a hay bale in the feed trough next to the pasture, so does that work is question one. Then, in the winter, where is the grass going to come from? What confuses me is that below ...

Re: Altenstein Seasons Ready?
I guess I'm thinking about it incorrectly then. So, I should just make hay bales instead of grass bales since those will/can replace grass in the cow grass trough right? The problem begins in winter when there won't be any grass to mow/feed. I think this makes sense now, thanks everyone!

Re: Altenstein Seasons Ready?
Is there any speculation about why grass bales rot when stored inside? Is there something special about the texture, or programming of the game/seasons, or is this a choice made by Realismus? Doesn't make sense to me that grass would be special/different than hay or straw. Not trying to argue with i...

Re: Altenstein Seasons Ready?
Crash, I'll have to try and watch one of your upcoming streams! I think I understand most of the details pretty well, but I was just noticing the missing grass. Not sure why I hadn't seen it until now. I have already gone through one winter and didn't have a problem. Two things I think, I switched f...

Re: Altenstein Seasons Ready?
I started a new map, I guess I'll see how that goes. Going to be a bit before I have any grass or straw to make a bale with!

Altenstein Seasons Ready?
Anyone else playing Altenstein? I thought it was seasons ready but I have been noticing a LOT of missing hay, and grass bales each night! I store them inside of the map buildings (not a mod structure) and in the morning half or more entire stack of bales is gone! Just entered winter and the cows are...

Re: Railway empire
Anyone running this on PS4? Im in the U.S. and I do NOT see it in the PS Store yet. I thought the U.S. was supposed to get this today? Is it downloadable or is this a disc only game? Edit: Not long after this post the game showed up in the PS Store. It then took a few minutes before i could actually...

Re: Railway empire
I just watched a few videos, looks a lot like the old Railroads game. I think I'm gonna like it, can't wait!
