Re: Name one tractor...

I have 3 favorites: If I had to pick just one it would be the John Deere 60, mainly because this was my Grandfather's big tractor when I was a kid. And there is something in the sound of a two cylinder Deere that just soothes my soul. http://johnnypopper.com/jdgifs/60matt.jpg The Deere 4020 because ...

Straw and hay prices at $0

I am on PC, running seasons on two different maps and the straw prices and hay prices are at $0. I know seasons nerfed the price of these things, but I feel like I may have something wrong here. Anyone else having this issue? Not a big deal but I don't get any profit off selling my surplus hay every...

What do you always buy for your farm but never actually use?

I can't be the only one that buys things for my farm I know I am never going to use. They are usually pieces every farm has but there aren't many uses in the game. For example: The Gorenc Planer Supra H (or as I call it, a back blade). I always have a blade to level my lots and roads that never need...

Seasons grass

I have searched the forum for this but can't find the answer.

Do you have to replant grass every year in seasons? I have gone through the cycle but the grass does not seem to start growing again in the spring. The field status says harvested. Am I just not being patient enough?

Re: I want to know your valuable and detailed opinion

I played on XB1 until I got a PC at Christmas.

I like American maps, and was really enjoying Pacific Northwest.

Re: Things you see on real farms that aren't in the game yet

Vegetation management:

Mowing headlands, ditches, roadsides, pastures, etc to keep them from becoming overgrown.

Grading dirt roads, driveways, farm lots that are not paved.

Re: Self implied rules

I generally determine my rules at the start of a map. Mostly the same rules as that people have posted above but here a couple I haven't read: No autoload. I don't do this every map but have in the past. Only (fill in the blank) equipment. Currently all Deere on Hazzard County. Did all yellow tracto...

Re: Front lifter

I'm late to the party on this one but the lifter also works on the rear of most of the wheel loaders and telehandlers in the game.

Its a game changer for me, especially for the telehandlers.

Yes, especially on European maps. I've seen some really cool equipment for that.

Even grazing land has to be mowed at least once a year to keep from being overgrown. (At least here in the Southeastern US). After 5 years without mowing you'd need a bulldozer here.

Vegetation management - Idea for FS21

Vegetation management idea: Any grass area will need to be mowed at least twice a year (so this would require seasons). This would apply only to property owned by the player. If a property is not mowed bushes spring up first. If ignored long enough, trees sprout randomly that require a chainsaw to c...

Cotton in seasons

Do any of the Geo's on the mod hub allow for cotton?
I have not seen one, but I may have overlooked it.

Same for cane.
