Re: Question about Cows

@Stryder87:

Welcome to the real world of farming. There are never enough hours in the day to do all that needs to be done when livestock are involved in the operation. That is why there are custom harvesters to provide necessary help for the operation.

Yes. The silo at the main farm holds the crop. The south farm silo by field 1 and the east farm silo by field 17 have no crop in them.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

To be fair I drove a semi from 1972 when I got out of the Navy till May of last year and had trucks with and without Jakes or Williams brakes. I always wished I could find the dink that pushed for the ordinances to see if his kids had the loud boom boxes in their cars/pickups. What I hated the most ...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

@Mwal: If the federal government had any backbone at all they would fine every city, town or municipality that passed an anti Engine brake ordinance. It is a violation of Federal law to disable safety equipment. They should stop the damn kids with loud boom boxes in their cars as well. It would stil...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

@BoxTunnel: a Jake brake or as it is properly known a Jacobs Engine Brake is an engine compression brake that uses the natural compression of a Diesel engine and turns it into a retarder by not allowing the exhaust valves to fully open when there is no fuel going into the cylinders. The air that com...

Re: Modhub freezing (console)

I have been having trouble for over a month. I am on PS4 Pro and I have not been able to get past the opening screen with career, multi player, tutorials, trophies, playstation store, options, credits to try to play about every other time I fire up the game. The other games are loading fine. I bough...

Re: Plow Required After Corn Harvest

As an old timer I can say with certainty that plowing was done every harvest when I was growing up. We had mowers like the John Deere HX 20 that we chopped the corn stalks with then we plowed the stalks under and let the field sit all winter. We did that with all the fields every year.

Re: Stone valley seasons console

Considering that the last I worked on a farm was 1968 I have lost the knowledge of silage in any form. The Navy and a career as an over the road truck driver has left me sadly lacking in my farm knowledge if I can't read to get it.

It can also come from the ethernet cable coming unplugged from the back of the console. :blushnew: I don't use wi fi. I don't even have the wi fi turned on on my cable modem. Too many neighbors close to me.

It must be slow internet. Just rechecked and am downloading grasslands for a look see. Will go to Sosnovka later. I liked Sosnovka in 17 better than I did Goldcrest Valley.

Are we having mod hub problems?

I noticed that 2 new maps and 5 updates were listed in the mod hub today, but when I started my Playstation 4 Pro there were no new maps or any updates listed. Did the mod hub break?

Re: A question for those of you who are farmers or grew up on a farm

Mwal I know that the John Deere guy went from a small SPF swine operation to a feeder operation where he is shipping a load of feeders a week to Hormel in the Quad cities from just north of Terre Haute, Indiana. His daughters are running the majority of the operation now so it could be the girls are...
