Like Eische already posted. On Alma map, the cow base food is silage.

In real life you can't just use any seeder, or planter on a plowed field. You would work the field more to smooth it before planting. You'd disc, cultivate, power harrow etc. first. In order to smooth the soil for seeding, or planting.

I'm on console, and didn't buy the baling dlc either. The only ones I've found to work are, 82studio 50ft. transport trailer pack and the bale bed in the Phoenix truck pack. Hope that helps you Decriptus.
