Re: Frontier design

This does sound good indeed.

With all the added features, does the map still work as intended with MR mod?

Re: Added realism for vehicles

Very nice. So, since you've set yourself in the line of sight, I'll ask the question everyone wants to: Is this mod in any way based on, or at least inspired by, the More Realistic mod by Dural for FS13 / 17? Can we expect something similar to what we saw in MR? Or is it something completely else?

Re: need help on Giants Editor

Do you need to do it in the stock map file? If not, you can do this in game with the landscaping tools :) .

Re: Blender Exporter Plugin - Feedback

Perfect. Thank you.

Does this work for 2.81, or should we still only use 2.8?

Re: Blender Exporter Plugin - Feedback

https://nld-community.nl/files/file/380-giants-i3d-exporter-for-blender-28/ FA from NLD and another guy updated it Thank you. Perhaps that is what it will take to finally be able to export from Blender again. However, do you know how to install this one? It says "Installation is the same as the 2.7...

Re: Add contracts to fields that do not have them

Shywizard's channel looks great, and I see myself checking out plenty of his videos in the near future. However, he has a lot of videos, and I can't easily see any of them addressing this issue in particular. I guess it could be a part of some of the videos on fields or mapping in general. Could som...

Re: Please tell me your guesses.

In today's state, yes. But the difference between modders and Giants, is that while the modders have to work with what they have, Giants are free to develop their engine as they like, which is exactly what they are doing for every new release. My guess is that we will not see much development in the...

Re: #StopThePayWall

Giants should devise some compensation for those modders who make modifications to their games and not to make the modders themselves to determine whether they give it for free or not. They do. Modders who feel their mods are good enough to make money off, are free (and encouraged) to upload them t...

This is the author's FB page: https://www.facebook.com/Lukky30-Creations-714770845241795/ The post where he explains how to get the map for a "small fee": https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=2801813749870817&id=714770845241795&__tn__=-R The fee is 350,-, I assume that is in Czech korun...

Excellent news. I believe this was availiable in the late stage of Courseplay 17, very useful.

Re: Dinamic sky

This is bothering me too. And to try to excuse it with "it's realistic with some variation in the cloud coverage" is ridiculous. The dynamic sky is quite decent where it is active, and has plenty of variation. The problem is that the dynamic sky doesn't cover the whole sky, only the part of the sky ...

Re: Whats your favorite job on the farm?

Anyone who says plowing is a liar! Honestly, plowing has its ups with the dynamic ground providing a furrow to follow. It is the only job where you really notice the tiny bit of dynamic ground FS does offer. That one person who voted lime spreading, though, is obviously a psychopath. I voted mowing...

Re: Just switched from 17 to 19, disappointed, anyone else had a similar feeling?

Traditionally, every second FS release is a feature focused release, and the others are graphics focused releases. FS19 is a graphics focused release, and offers a huge step forward in graphics from FS17/15. FS17 looked identical to FS15, but offered a variety of new features, including forestry. FS...

Re: Seasons Help/tips?

That must be your rule of thumb. Realismus has always recommended 9 day seasons with 5x speed as a base. That is also what I use, works perfectly for me.
