Re: "This will drive you crazy" Ad ?? What

GIANTS have said micro transactions will never come to the game.

Re: Contracts disappearing?

Just here to confirm that I also experience issues with contracts on version 1.090 on PS5. Is Giants aware of the issue? Has anything been discussed? I can’t play the game like that, so I put it aside for now, *censored* because I love playing this game. You'll need to submit a bug report if you've...

Re: Cutting new fields

It's easier to keep control (making small corrections while looking at the compass) while driving slower. Set your cruising speed to something like 3-4mph rather than the default (6 or 7 usually) and go from there. Yes it's slower, but you only need to do so for the outline of the field. A bigger tr...

Re: Findings About Grass Growth Stages

In FS22 base-game grass definitely shows as harvestable (yellow) at the earliest point which it can be cut, not the best time for it to be cut. To judge grass it's probably best to cut a little of the meadow grass around the the field (if there is any) at the same time as the field itself and wait u...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

Yeah it works fine. If he did watch Sealy's video first, he should've known you need to complete the challenge first before jumping out of the tractor and trying to leave the game. That's the reason it froze. So nothing wrong with mod, but it was an user error. The game really shouldn't freeze if y...

Re: Contracts disappearing?

I was testing this earlier and I fast-forwarded two years on Elmcreek, checking intermittently and didn't notice anything odd. The number rose and fell as pretty much as expected depending on the season. It was just a quick check and I didn't actually do any contracts (which might be significant), b...

Re: Make realism easier to see please

GIANTS don't tend to allow extremely unrealistic things on the ModHub. Not branded anyway. Sure a few things get through, often for player ease like the Trex, but they're in the minority. Largely you can just ask yourself "could a machine really do this?" and know the answer. GIANTS tend t...

Re: FS22 on XBOX, thoughts and some bugs?

My money is on it not being changed, look at how recluctant they were initially in offering more options than one day seasons I think it is all tied in with the productions and their cycles per month. I don't think they were reluctant, they just hadn't considered how players would want to play it a...

Re: AMD's Latest Video Drivers & Patch 1.5

1.5 added FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 to the game, which I assume is what you're experiencing.
New additions
  • Added AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.0
  • Added upscaling sharpness slider for DLSS, FSR 1.0 and FSR 2.0

Re: AGI pack

I'm pretty sure all proper DLCs direct from GIANTS are .exe files, and have been since as long as I can remember. There are Mac equivalents (.dmg) but the Windows versions have been .exes. I'm not sure about FS22 though as I got that through Steam (and haven't bought the AC DLC anyway). Going back a...

Re: Simplified Worker AI

I don't want any of them in game personally, not in their current guises. They'd be far too overwhelming for most players. They need much of that functionality, but the AI should be programmed to work it out, not just follow paths. I forgot headlands too, both harvesting/cutting before doing the mid...

Re: Simplified Worker AI

Much of the functionality is already in the game. The console has commands to set fields to any states instantly, primarily for testing and debugging (and probably how non-owned field states change), but it would be relatively simple to adapt it to a working game mode with a GUI and calculating yiel...

Re: Does the wheel weights actually way anything?

They certainly help when using a front loader and picking up bales and pallets. Whether they alter traction or friction, I've no idea. I tend to run with them anyway as they look better for most tractors in my opinion (and it saves a future expense if you have them as standard), and while there may ...
