Re: I need to know about the next game coming

Looks like your wish may be granted. GIANTS have posted on their social channels a countdown timer that goes from 5 down to 3 and stops at that, so the obvious guess is 3 days until an announcement/teaser about the next game, presumably FS22. I suppose it could also be announcing Farmcon 21, but I d...

Re: Best of Oxygendavid

Technically probably his latest (new) map, Marwell Manor (though I've not yet tried the finished version of Swiss Future Farm). Oakfield on FS17 was amazing and probably my favourite overall, but like most converted maps it's lost some of its soul in FS19. It's fair to say that Calmsden Farm is abou...

Re: Farming simulator 19 vs GTA 5

So yes they’ve had a decade but that’s been a decade doing a bunch of other stuff, they’ve not had an entire dev team optimizing it for a decade like I expect gav was meaning. Pretty much. You're probably talking about rewriting much of the engine, then reimplementing all the existing features for ...

Re: Potatoes.... what is the point?

Gotta share a link of some (in your opinion) acceptable recipes for food if your gonna talk about eating things here, I wanna try but I don’t wanna get burned with a shitty recipe I don't think I followed a recipe, I just learned from parents like most, but this is pretty much how I do it: BBC Good...

Re: Pick up F250 Brazil is Clearly a Ford GIANTS #Blind

There's some truly horrific Conta Comigo Modding mods that I'm amazed GIANTS allow to tarnish the ModHub, but the mod in question isn't among them. It is unquestionably an early 2010s F250, but I'm sure if Ford raise questions then I'm sure GIANTS will remove it pending alterations. Clearly the Tran...

Re: Farming simulator 19 vs GTA 5

I won't go there... What I will say is when people say things like "optimise" it comes across like it's the work of a few weeks of code tweaking or something. To properly "optimise" (if such a thing even exists) a game like FS it would probably take the best part of a decade. To put that into contex...

Re: How licenses and branding on console works

I can see a FS future title that acts as a sort of "all in one game". Before EA's Battlefield, there were tank games, plane games, military shooters, etc. Battlefield brought all of those genres together. I can see Giants using the FS brand in the same way sometime down the road. Years ago (~FS17 p...

Re: Potatoes.... what is the point?

Massive income potential but with a high workload. Given the missing patches I assume you're talking about hired helpers, which are pretty useless with such long machines (self-propelled or trailed), but they're more efficient (or less inefficient) with longer and less constrained fields. Potatoes a...

Re: Just bought retail fs19 premium edition.. need help!

If you buy direct through GIANT'S online store they do include downloads for either Windows or Mac, just like the DLCs (see image below). As you said though this isn't the same with the physical retail version you bought as the keys aren't interchangeable, whereas the DLCs bought through GIANTS work...

Re: DLC details

I don't think the DLCs are for you then as they don't do anything much different to the standard game and certainly most items aren't cheaper.

They're aimed at fans of the brands.

Re: DLC details

As Dairydeere said. Or check Youtube for " FS19 Claas DLC review " and you'll find plenty of players going through the different equipment. If by any chance you play FS19 on PC through Steam and buy any DLC through their store then you can get a refund on DLC purchases, so long as you haven't played...

Re: Seasons... Yes or no?

I enjoy using it on a server, but in single player it feels more like grind for it to be enjoyable. That's not a slight at Seasons at all as the mod is almost certainly the best mod ever released, but I think I'm just too impatient to use it with no-one else around.

Re: Seeder/cultivater question question

If you're using lime you can do this: 1) Fertilise 2) Lime 3) Drill/fertilise combination, like the Ceres 4) Herbicide. It's not even remotely realistic, but it will give you 100% yield. If you don't need to add lime and if you don't want to plough (or subsoil) or cultivate separately then you'll ha...

Re: Fastbaler

But in short, swaths are to big. Not too big as such, but bigger swaths will slow it down as the more the baler has to process the slower it has to go to maintain a consistent speed. Think of the listed speed as a maximum speed (yield dependant) rather than an expected speed, like it would be in re...

Re: We need more tractors from the 70's and 80's!

Love this forum, lot's to learn. Thought I'd heard the name David Brown before and a bit of googling led to the fact that his grandson, Sir David Brown bought Aston Martin for £30,000 in 1946. Adjusting for inflation that's a mere £400,000 ish today. Two cars! Which is why most Aston Martin cars ar...
