Re: Volume of hay or straw pellets

Only difference is the Primos doesn't seem to want to collect every last bit of the swath in a field. Baling is obviously way quicker in terms of collection so allows you to turn the field over sooner but then you have to go through the monotony and frustration of loading bales onto the shredder lat...

Re: Harvesting Contract Tip

Large cotton fields are great for this, even if you have to lease the equipment to take the job. When you deliver the first bale to the sellpoint it will tell you what % of the delivery has been completed. As already noted by Alagos you only need to deliver 75% to complete the contract so work out h...

Re: RitchiF

Michamp is a fantastic map, I was surprised not to see it talked about more on here. I've seen RitchiF's other maps on the modhub but not played them yet. Great work.

Re: Really excited to get this game tomorrow on ps4

I originally got 19 on PC but recently got the PS4 version to play mp with some friends. 1. There are always a lot of active mp games if you want to play that way. The main problem i have with mp farming is you are beholden to the mods the host has installed so can end up using your mod space on mod...

Re: PS4 Straw Harvest Crane Tips

Good tips - once I worked the right camera angle to use (2nd option) and to orientate the view I did quite enjoy using the crane. Well, until it incessantly grabbed the trailer when I had it nicely loaded with 20+ pallets. That did allow me to skill up on how to right upturned pellet pallets though ...

Re: Farming Simulator 19 FREE for PlayStation Plus members

Same thing, as long as you keep paying for PS plus subscription you have access to these free monthly games. So...they basically are not free then. Strictly speaking no, but you have to have PS+ in order to play online which the majority of users I suspect do. The games are a bonus as you are payin...

Re: FS 19 Seasons: Are horses worth it?

If I have horses I train them once it is too dark for field work, turn the speed back to 1x. I find a large area to gallop in circles and use a rubber band to pull the sticks of my controller together so I can leave the game to train horse while I go make a coffee or do something else for 5-10mins....

Re: Top Maps (Console Edition)

Just picked up 19 on console to play multiplayer with my brother. PC is great and I miss some of the mods but I possibly actually prefer playing on console overall. Przemasowo & Michamp are both really nice playing maps. The former is a good multiplayer map for big equipment, will definitely be tryi...

Re: Small Guide on PC's

Are you sure you want to trust your pc with a cheap SSD? That's pretty much the going rate for a 250GB SSD at the moment. I was looking at getting another SSD as I ditched my 1TB HDD recently and prices for brands I trust were around the £110 mark for 1TB or £70 for 500GB. 250GB are in the region o...

Re: Crop Withering - Seasons

Wheat barley oats and canola can only be planted in spring and autumn not summer on default geo Yeah, I know. Sir_Kutz seemed to be suggesting this only happened to him when he didn’t pay attention to the planting season. My response was saying that could only be summer because in winter the ground...

Re: Crop Withering - Seasons

The only time I've have withering with season is when I didn't pay attention to the planting season. For wheat, barley, oats & canola (the crops I planted) not paying attention to the planting season could only be planting in summer (standard geo). In winter you'd likely not be allowed to work the ...

Re: Crop Withering - Seasons

You couldnt turn it off in 17 either No, but in 17 the rules around withering were simpler. I don’t mind the odd patch of field getting destroyed due to uncontrollable forces or large patches being destroyed if you fail to do something but when all you can do is sit and wait until harvest time seei...
