Re: The wait begins!

Its a farming game - its going to be repetitive and a bit of a grind! I can appreciate not everyone likes the base maps but I'm not really sure how someone can have tried everything the game has to offer in just 60 hours unless they cheated money in. I'm playing Felsbrunn on easy and after 45 hours ...

Re: Placeable System/Landscaping Tool ..... My thoughts.

I watched a YT video on landscaping and with renewed optimism and enthusiasm I had another go at it in the game. Admittedly what I was attempting - building up the ground to extend field 27 on Felsbrunn to the east - was never going to be that cheap or easy but a few minutes of making a complete has...

Re: 1.2 Beta Economy

The initial decrease in prices I noted was down to the difficulty setting for economy - I wasn't aware of this added option when I first posted. Oats have increased a bit across the difficulties and cotton has obviously increased a lot (thankfully). Have played a fair bit since the update now so ini...

Re: Placeable System/Landscaping Tool ..... My thoughts.

If for example, you buy a field and want to smooth the border so that you can extend your working area into it, it is almost impossible to do easily. You certainly can't predict what will happen with any click. Every change you make, which is an experiment in what the tool will let you do rather th...

Re: Fertilizing

Better still then, you could save for the Amazone Condor with its 15m working width and larger capacity. ;)

Re: How is patch 1.2? Any good?

Economy was a bit messed up for me after the patch - not broken, just odd, like with negative pricing. I think that is only happen when you're trying to use an 1.1.3 savegame with the new version. I did not get this issue with new save. Fair enough although I'm not sure how many people will be will...

Re: Small weeds in ready to harvest crops

AFAIK there's nothing you can do about them if the field is ready for harvest. I had this problem early on in my game but since then my weeds always come up during a growing phase and I can deal with them.

Re: Fertilizing

Oh sorry, yeah the Vaderstad cultivates but doesn't fertilise. That bag icon indicates that the implement takes fertiliser. The Horsch is really good but does need a 270hp tractor.

Re: How is patch 1.2? Any good?

The terraforming is definitely not as easy as the videos suggest. Hopefully it just takes some getting used to but I already noticed you get the red shading cursor a lot like with placeables where it won't allow you to work and doesn't explain why. Not sure how well the mechanics will translate to c...

Re: Farming Simulator 19 breaks sales records...

Top is a vague term - it may be the top selling currently but it still has to prove itself as the top farming 'simulator'. Its sales success is down to: 1. The success of FS17 across all platforms, in part thanks to the introduction of mods on consoles 2. The marketing hype generated on the back of ...

Re: Fertilizing

I've only worked with seeders in 19 so far (not planters) so can't recommend one for Sunflowers without being in the game but for seeders the smallest cheapest one I think is the Vaderstad Rapid A 600S. The Horsch Pronto 9 DC is more expensive but doesn't require cultivating first and, at 9m width, ...

Re: Fertilizing

You'll get a better yield at 100% than at 50% fertilised. Oil Seed Radish is a relatively cheap way to fertilise but you have to allow a growth cycle before you can cultivate or seed over it to get the fertilisation benefit. I only really used it when playing with seasons in 17 as there was plenty o...

Re: Can not see front or back attachment

I think mine is grayish (or opaque) vs white when selected. I can make out which is selected but agree its not as obvious as FS17. Maybe try changing brightness/contrast a bit?

I've seen one on modhub.us. Not used it though so can't vouch for it's usefulness/stability.

Re: 1.2 Beta Economy

Silage dropped from 500 to 200 at the bga on hard. Cotton went from 300 to 1000. The others seem pretty much where they were before, but w/o commodity price mod its hard to tell, I don't really check the prices unless I'm going looking to sell something... Do you see the variability between sell po...
