Re: Lame Censorship

I imagine it’s a standard set of rules for the age rating of the game which will have been provided to them, I doubt anyone at giants sits there and goes through every possible word or abbreviation, deciding if it could be offensive or inappropriate.
Secondly, who really cares?

Re: No equipment on contracts

Contracts are bugged. Wrong fields, unable to complete harvest contracts, potato harvest contracts have been missing the topper from the borrowed equipment.. avoid until the patch or do what I do if you are on PC, if I encounter a bug and I’ve done work then I manually put the money into my account

Re: Edit: Vehicle control addon mod with GPS for Fs22

It’s great to have this soo soon. Works spot on, simple to use and I like the all the lines disappear after you activate it. Not sure what more we need of a GPS mod.

Not for me either. I hate having to unlock things. The money is the limiting factor, don’t need anything else

Re: help seed or roll 1st

That sounds right. A heavy deep cultivator or a power Harrow that has a heavy packer etc leaves a firmer/more compact seedbed. A ring roller will loosen the top and give you a powdery surface which you need for certain seed. We do it for grass on our turf farm. You will get this with a shallow/light...

Re: help seed or roll 1st

You can do both. Before drilling gives you a nice powdery seed bed, after helps bury the seed and aids germination, both helps bury stones. If you want to be realistic, if rolling after, go at a slightly different angle to the drill.

Re: Back to FS19

I just do not get this negative attitude towards 22. Yes it has some bugs but the game is absolutely playable (maybe not catering to all play styles right now). Do people have really short memories or something. 17 wasn't the best at first but soon became, in my opinion, the best version until now. ...

Re: Lifting implements independently

Has it always been a mod? I thought I remembered 17/19 having the ability to control them separately? Been a long time though so maybe I’m wrong.

Lifting implements independently

Am I being stupid or has the ability to lift and turn on/off the front and rear implements independently via a button/key (without having to cycle tool selection) been removed? I’ve mapped and tried every control that I think is related but I can either raise/lower or turn on/off, the tool that is s...

Re: Love Love Love for FS22

Have none of you bought any software on launch day in the last 10 years? I agree, but I also think it is a really stupid precedent that has been set. It's like my boss told me, "it's not an excuse to make bad things." Basically what you are saying is that "murderers kill people, ther...

Re: FS19 plan doesn't survive first contact

Haha that was the very reason I just couldn’t get into FS19 and stopped playing FS for years. Tried several times but I’d fire the game up, drive a machine for a few mins and quit. All the negative comments about FS22 have me a bit baffled as well. Recalling my first start on fs19… Start game Realis...

Re: Economy discussion on Hard/Start from Scratch

I agree that the AI is ridiculously expensive. I wish real life farm workers earned £1000’s an hour! Is there a way to edit this some how? I to used them to help with a contract! Cost £300 to get one to bring an empty trailer from my yard to a field opposite. It also charges while the workers are wa...

Re: Economy discussion on Hard/Start from Scratch

I reckon the best way is to decide what you want to do, work out how much it would cost to get going and manually adjust the starting cash in the save game xml. The game isn’t really very good at the economy side of things. IRL you wouldn’t start a business without the required equipment and funds o...

Re: wheel and shifter combinations you like - PC

I don’t like the manual shifter because it takes up a lot of space for something that just changes gear and secondly, most tractors/machinery don’t have gated transmissions any more and the ones that do, have an element of power shift which means you mostly press buttons on a stick which a shifter d...

Re: Hyper-slow growth, 0 fun, dead game

Basically players who were used to being able to plant a crop and harvest it in the same game day in FS19 due to the Fast Growth Setting, are going to be very disappointed that in FS22, crop growth is far more realistic and time consuming. Now I'm worried that I'm going to be spending more time &qu...
