Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

As much as I wanted to like the NMC trucks they just don’t look right to me even after the update, which is disappointing. Looks like I’m still using the TTHD flatbed. That flatbed is awesome though. The dirt that shows up after using it is so realistic looking. It’s top notch. That truck IMO is th...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

It may be a small addition to FS19 but I just want to say that the new grain bins that were added today is something I have been waiting on for a while. Bins that finally work for a small farm setup so thanks to the modders for that. Also that Volvo NL10 is pretty nice as well.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

Really hoping the cotton pack passes, been waiting on a cotton picker that doesn’t build modules since the game released.

Re: BulletBill

The more closer it is to RL the more familiar it feels to us which gives us greater immersion and enjoyment. I whole heartedly agree with this statement. Maps that are far for RL with patchy trees that have no under brush is the biggest killer for me which is the main reason I go back to Your and O...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

I loved Osina because of the landscape but they killed it for me when the update removed the corn texture and the ability to sell off the sleep trigger.

Re: Anyone have a go-to source for farm lay-out ideas?

Here are a couple of screenshots from my latest build on Welker for your reference. YouTube is the best source if you’ve never been around a farm to have an idea. https://image.giants-software.com/1/Qhy3j3PB-T.jpeg https://image.giants-software.com/1/NhvcxAjA-T.jpeg https://image.giants-software.com...

South View Farm Silage

I have seemed to run into an issue with the silage clamp at South View Farm on Marwell Manor. I worked quite a while to completely fill the clamp and covered it and when I opened up my save game the silage has disappeared but is still showing that it is fermenting. Anybody else have this issue?

Re: Old Gen Massey Pack

Only 2 things have really kept me from getting really into FS19 and that’s seasons and classic tractors and equipment. BSMs MF pack was probably the best mod besides seasons and not just for the tractors, the pull type forage harvesters and the cheap round bailer were essential to start from scratch...

Re: Forage question

I believe the additive starts the fermentations process by activating the sugars in the grass giving the crop a head start. So basically the fermentations has already begun before the crop has been put in a bunker buck raked and compacted and blanketed over. In the UK we call bunkers clamps. I dont...

Re: Forage question

In the US the forage wagons are pretty much a rarity, I have never personally seen one. We have always used pull type harvesters for corn and small grains. But it really comes down to cost and performance. We got our NH 892 for 6k, compared to even a older self propelled harvester we were looking at...

Re: Seasons and animals

As I read grass produce rots as is wet, as IRL, I would prefer to work with hay, silage, straw or tmr and let animals graze on grass Yeah, but the question is, where to get grass at winter? Well IRL we *** more silage and hay since the pastures are dead. Don’t know if it will be like that in game t...
