Re: Fs17

I really want to be engulfed in FS19, but I just can't. As far as the game is concerned it lacks a certain charm 17 had. Partly to blame is the plastic appearance of everything and the colors and lighting. The colors seem very harsh to me and hurt my eyes after a period. Beyond the appearance, I can...

Re: John Deere S790 - Console slot count - Can we get clarification

Love them or hate them the team at No Man's Sky pushed out 18 game builds within 48hrs this past weekend to patch and update their Beyond release. My memory is fuzzy but I think it was months after release before our first major patch to FS19. The slot limit is obviously a problem evident in the num...

Re: Modhub on Console, a real joke

Respectfully I think you guys are missing the OPs point. You all are correct that mod space limit is out of giants' hand. However, they absolutely have control over how they release additional content and also content that was supposed to be delivered at release. The map, as well as future additiona...

Re: FS19 Disappointing

Estancia and other Giant's mods that are add-on content should really be deployed as updates and NOT mods. It's almost a meme now that mods will make it all better. It's true that they add fantastic features to the base game but it comes at a cost for the console consumers. Our mod space is limited ...

What convinced you to buy? Rant warning.

I've sunk 1000s of hours in prior FS releases. I'm a huge fan. However, I'm very nervous about 19 especially as a console player. A few concerns of mine: 1. Horses seem glitchy in Twitch streams. Riding up trees and hunting blind ladders for example. 2. The dog which seemed marketed as a weighty fea...

Re: Lone oak update

Haha, quite a talented sheep.

Some good ideas so far, it's tough too balance realism with practicality in this game. 250k is plenty.

Glad to hear the update made it to console, looking forward to playing it this weekend. Enjoy the day guys, and hope you feel better BB.

Re: Lone oak update

Thx for the info and response BB. We all appreciate you're attention to realism. I played the west coast a lot and there it was no issue because of all the grain barns. I really like the bin setups at your sell points. They look like what you'd see here in the Midwest. I'd be tickled to see those mo...

Re: Lone oak update

Thanks for the input guys. I'll look into a few of those console-compatible mods. I'm liking your idea Patrick. Case, I was thinking that same thing, I'm in the midwest and haven't seen anyone dump grain in lean-to's. I'm curious if it's more common than I'm aware or just more common in Europe. I fa...

Re: Lone oak update

Yeah bud that's what I'm doing. It's pretty nit-picky but I hesitated to do it for two reasons: 1. The extensions aren't as nice (American) as Frontiers silo, 2. They are expensive, and I play on Hard mode. I was just asking hoping it would be in the update and I could forego more extensions and inv...

Re: Lone oak update

Was silo cap increased in PC update? I know y'all can change that ez on PC but us console peasants can't. I'm curious what Frontier had in mind for us to do with all these crops lol. Sell them off the field at half price...

Anyhoo, I'm addicted to the map. It's stellar.

Re: Frontier Design - Discussion Topic

Silage clamp at main farm leaks out the back.

Fantastic map Frontier team. Very well done. I only wish the silo held more of each crop. I can get 100k liters from one of these fields.

Looking forward to spending a lot of hours on this map.

Re: Poll about Horsch DLC

Why not release it as an actual DLC? As far as I know Giants has not advertised Horsch as a dlc on their website, (read expansion on modhub). The difference is, it currently is a MOD that counts against console MOD caps. A dlc like big bud is a game update, not a MOD. Perhaps a better solution would...

Re: Frontier Design - Discussion Topic

Bill: a top three feature for me, and I don't think I'm alone, is adjustable fields. I like to feel that I can affect the land layout. Stretching fields and combining as a personal touch. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks for the hard work.
