Re: Five essential and realistic mods (Modhub)

QuickCamera - because being able to look back at the implement is what you do. ExtendedDriving - because I'm used to it can can't do left-trigger back, right-trigger forward Lime Extension - too few lime spreaders Increased fuel consumption - otherwise fuel is pointless Seasons - I almost didn't put...

Re: Seasons+map??

Another alternative is to give yourself a large farm but small equipment - that makes it a real struggle to get all the spring sowing done, get the hay or silage in, harvest the crops, cultivate before the winter: never any time to wait.

Re: Farming simulator 21 release?

People keep talking about Mud Runner, but I've never played it... Does it even have buildings in it? Snowrunner is the much improved sequel to Mudrunner and yeah its got small towns and its really a very detailed world now compared to FS. There's a lot Giants could learn from it including the visua...

Re: The Hype of Animals

My dairy operations have ranged from herd of 20 to 250 and at the larger, once established, they make a lot of money. I tend to grow my own feed and bedding as much as possible. I've got one tiny beef unit, on Campaign of France. I've got one large pig operation, the breeding herd is 120 pigs, and m...

Re: Farming simulator 21 release?

I really would like to see the farming experience expanded before moving onto to another rinse and repeat version of FS19... FS17, FS15, FS13, FS11, etc, etc. Give the guys with consoles more options before worrying about the PC crowd. Just a few ideas: I'd like my hired workers to be completely au...

Re: Master Field size list

As for bushels, I don't even know what they are. I thought they were some sort of old biblical measure. Are bushels used ANYWHERE other than America, does anybody know? Always sounds very old fashioned, like how people used to measure everything in 'chains'. Bushels were used in Europe but are gene...

Re: Farming simulator 21 release?

I think the problem with a story mode -- if by that we mean an end-goal and a series of events that take you to that end goal, or not -- is that there are so many possible stories that any offering of say, three, four or five scenarios wouldn't suit enough people, so the majority would be displeased...

Re: Master Field size list

1000 litres is 28.378 bushels Oh, cool. Thank you. It depends ... Imperial bushels are 8 imperial gallons, or 36.368 litres, whereas US bushels are 8 US dry gallons, or 35.239 litres (or liters!) On field sizes there's this .. https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.php?lang=en&country=gb&mod_id=1374...

Re: American Maps

With an overabundance of European style maps, I'm curious as to what everyone's favorite American maps. I may or may not be looking for a recommendation of a good American map that I can start from scratch with no loans, a 100HP tractor, and go from there to build a farming empire. Overabundance?

Re: Meaning of Silo Overfill

I don't believe it is a "bad translation" rather it is a direct translation. Some languages translate differently and word placement is not like American English. As for Giant changing the words... why do so if the general idea is there and the farmer gets the idea, even if it takes a little time. ...

Re: Inquiring Minds Want to Know!

I really don't understand this mentality of dedicating so much time looking for mods. Stick to a few modder's sites and/or news sources and leave it at that. Where is the need to download dozens of mods then wading through them all to check for errors and quality? How many mods would you actually u...

Re: Meaning of Silo Overfill

I've always assumed that it's a mis-translation of a German word or phrase, because in English I'd say it should be "Unload" not "Overload", because the latter means "fill too much".
