Re: working farm map editing
Hi, Is there a way to edit a working farm map, I would like to remove some buildings and edit backdrop. If you are on PC (or on Mac but have access to PC) then yes - you can use GIANTS Editor (see https://gdn.giants-software.com/) to make private edits. It might look daunting at first, but if you k...

Re: AI
I'd like the developers to go and check what the mod pathTractor, in its simplicity, allowed people to do in FS2009. Tons and tons of silage with 6 trailers following the chopper, set up in minutes. Don't find CP this friendly, let alone that (useful?) thing of tasks in vanilla game FS2009 was befo...

Re: AI
Is it possible to hire a worker when "create new field" is active? If so, this should be considered a bug, and fixed. I bet you "beverage of choice" that if hiring a worker and creating a new field was removed there would be an outcry "GIANTS have ruined the game!! I **rely...

Re: Making all mods
They can't test every mod to see if it conflicts with other mods....there are thousands They have a better computer then I have so they should be able to have all the mods on their computer or computers so they can make sure that all mods they say we can have are compatible with all. That Is Their ...

Re: Making all mods
I have just the mods from mod hud that Giant's have on their site that they give us that is on their website and if it is on there all mods should work with any mod on there. They have a better computer then I have so they should be able to have all the mods on their computer or computers so they c...

Re: Making all mods
On a rough calculation there are 1580-ish mods in FS22 - since ordering is not important, this would be combinations not permutations but, my sketchy knowledge of maths, says the number of combinanations is 1580! - that is 1580 factorial or 3.0812845444129022741093791638305e+4382 ... which is a ver...

Re: Game keeps erasing my maps.
You should be able to find a savegameBackup folder somewhere on your Mac -- I'm not a Mac user so I don't know where that would be in Finder -- and that should contain the saveGame(s) just before you started the current save, the one that probably failed. Are you using Steam ClodeSave? -- I am and I...

Re: NEW GIANT ENGINE
I seem to recall somebody claiming the graphic engine was new for 22, and Giants correcting them by saying it was just an update. I couldn't find the post, but I also couldn't find anything stating the graphics engine was anything other than an update by adding some new features. Hopefully in their...

Re: FEN EDGE
There's a new update for the map and I can load it again. I spoke too soon - came back to the savegame and as the saveGame loads FS22 closes when the load reaches about 67% -- without leaving anything relevant in the log. Oh well. EDIT: Actually ... it might have been a previous broken save - I was...

Re: NEW GIANT ENGINE
To me it's pretty clear that Giants is happy with their model, and likely won't change anything. Why build a Ferrari when you can build a Jalopy and sell it for the price of a Ferrari. Us lifers keep paying for it and making excuses for it. This topic is a dead horse at this point, and it's best to...

Re: NEW GIANT ENGINE
GIANTS!!! You have been running on the same engine since 2012  . We (maybe just me) are asking YOU to elaborate on that question that similarly kept swept under the rug. :biggrin2: any plans in the future hopefully! :hi: This still holds true -- in fact, as software becomes more and more com...
