Re: Cheapest way to fertilize?

don't forget the lost income potential, FS 19 seems to have very high manure and slurry sale prices( at least in the base game, don't have seasons yet so haven't seen if that changes anything). take into account the pioneer pallet mod and solid fertilizer is very cheap, selling a few thousand liters...

Captain, Road Prison 36: What we’ve got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can’t reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it; well, he gets it. I don’t like it any more than you men.

Re: change the wages helpers

this was a topic a couple months ago, interesting how things always circle around on this site.

if you are on fast growth, single day is basically a year, so each hour is about 1/2 a month, so their pay per is actually pretty low

Re: Lone Oak animal question

Not sure I buy that statement, we already have modded animal pens that have capacities that don't match the standard in game values.

Re: just for fun - fired up FS 17 the other day

I've never been concerned with used tractor values, on my save mentioned above I'm still running one of the original tractors that map started with(case 1455). I have 3 tractors approaching 125-150 hours each on that map. since the performance doesn't change regardless of age there really is no reas...

Re: just for fun - fired up FS 17 the other day

I have a save going on Estancia Lapacho, currently about 455 hours game play, on day 62 or 63, running 3 day seasons. I'm farming about 70ha mostly crops, but also have a dedicated popular field and two sugar cane fields. about 300 sheep, 200 pigs and 500 cattle. I really like this map because there...

Re: Are you still excited for Claas?

I'm looking forward to the Claas DLC as it's going to offer me a whole brand of tractors and harvesters to use on future career games, which means I'll finally get a change from using either the Fendts or John Deere in every game. I also think this Claas DLC plack contains enough equipment that it ...

Re: Claas DLC slot count

chances are if you are really concerned with slots, you'll be sticking to case, massey, new holland, etc. .......equipment that was brought over from fs17 as base game equipment.

You don't really need the leveler, as I mentioned above I'm using 3 different bunkers on marwell and I don't have one

Re: All in on silage?

My Marwell map has had the BGA running 24/7 starting on day two of that save game, at the beginning I was doing wrapped grass bales, then switched to loose grass. occasionally I do a field of corn to give my stock levels a boost. I put two bunkers in at the bga and use the one at the main farm. I al...

Re: Question about planters

I don't know about now a days, but back when I was a kid (1980's). The 4 row corn planter that dad used would use way more fertilizer than seed. Seemed like less than a couple bags of seed per day. But alot of clear plastic bags of dry fertilizer.

the snarky replies are one thing, also the OP had already asked the same question in the other lone oak thread, then started this one. so shame on all involved :)
