Thank you so so much. My problem was that I was looking in the steam directory for the game and not the folder in my documents. After two attempts I now have my save back. Thanks again

I have logged 11 hrs into FS19 and I have encountered a major issue. I opened the menu in game and it began to auto save. Whilst it did this I alt-tabbed and looked at Youtube on my second monitor. The game proceeded to crash. This I didnt mind but when I re-opened the game my only savegame was lost...

You need to take your trailer inside the shed among the cows and there is a drinker at either end. Tip in the actual water trough (the one the cows drink out of) and you should be good to go!
