Re: 1.3 beta. Nice job Giants

Don't see the news in that - it's been that way in my game since 1.2 - maybe before also... It's been that way since day one with '19 for me. (That's why I really didn't get what everyone was complaining about with respect to sound quality.) Maybe folks just needed better speakers... Anyway, from t...

Re: wrapped grass becomes silage.. right?

so I mowed a bunch of grass, I didn't use a tedder, or windowrower on it, . just used the unit (forget the name) .. that *censored* up the grass, and then makes bale and wraps it. Once wrapped does it become silage instantly? or do I have to wait,. How do I know what it is? did I follow the right s...

Re: Bale stacking

196 bales stacked semi neatly in what was a shed until I moved the to a new location. No issues with movement or shifting...yet http://i67.tinypic.com/140aczq.jpg Admittedly, I have seen things “dance” on occasion, it has typically been when I tried to do something silly. Bales have typically been ...

Re: Courseplay...

GPS is likely not coming, though another well-regarded Modder is working on a replacement. Courseplay is also in the works, but has been hampered by lack of LUA documentation, which was only released this week, I believe. Both mods will be a while yet. Keep in mind that it took 6 months or more for ...

Re: Organic fertilizers

I have a somewhat related question for you folks that have been using slurry and digestate: is it possible to unload your slurry tankers in ‘19 like dry spreaders and sprayers? If so, how? What about manure?

Re: Vehicle overview

It has always been a pointless thing Giants has done. It just tells you when the current value of the tractor is below a certain percentage of new value which doesn’t seem like important information. If it is not worth much to sell you may as well just keep running it anyway. While crudely (and not...

Re: Just don't get it

Aside from documented bugs with controls and certain machine, it works fine for me. I think the physics are far more realistic now as well; ‘17 was a lot more arcade-like unless you ran the MR mod. I mean, I’d have been dead years ago if I ever attempted to drive a real tractor the way one easily ca...

Re: Future DLC SPECULATION:Kverneland

In the last few years Kubota has made some serious steps to become a future big player in the agricultural machinery market. They've purchased brands such as Vicon, Kverneland and Great Plains and opened a new tractor factory in France. I was genuinely surprised that there wasn't a Kubota DLC for 1...

Re: Which platform should I get FS19 on?

You will have access to far more mods on the laptop, period. Consoles won’t have access to scripting-heavy mods (think GPS, Courseplay, etc), and they won’t have access to mods featuring brands not in the base game. So, if any of that’s important to you, I don’t think there is much of a question. Yo...

It may be worth comparing to the results here: https://www.reddit.com/r/farmingsimulat ... it-android

Would be interesting to compare and contrast the results and conclusions for verification.

Re: I must ask about the Ideal combine.

It's pretty common in the Automotive industry. It's called Badge Engineering or Rebadging. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebadging It’s not just common, it’s a way of life and in more industries than not at this point. (Though automotive tends to be the more obvious and well known example.). It’s m...

Re: Seeders that Fertilize

Yeah, I just don’t load fertilizer if I don’t need it. I just look at it as forcing me to follow reality a little more since you wouldn’t want to leave fertilizer in the machine indefinitely anyway. You’d waste fuel and make the tractor work harder to drag it around, plus it would probably cake up f...

Re: Slot disappointment

It's not anyone's rule really but the lack of extra RAM. This. It has been said time and again, here and elsewhere. “Slots” is an abstract way of representing the way in-game objects (maps and equipment) consume console resources (RAM, VRAM, GPU, CPU, etc). When you are out of resources, that’s all...

Re: Westbridge Hills: Time to retire it?

It needs a good rework, but make it have the same feel to it Agreed. I think, with a good top-to-bottom overhaul with new textures and all the current game features, it would still be a good map. In fact, I’m inclined to think it might lend itself to “create your own farm” pretty well. And I still ...
