Re: Looking old Land Rover...

I believe I've read somewhere on this forum that Virtual Farmer has a private mod for the classic Land Rover. It's a shame as I predominantly play British maps and for years the Land Rover was the vehicle of choice for many UK farmers. Since Land Rover stopped production of the Defender, Japanese pi...

Re: Political Correctness

That was excellent.

Bill Burr - Paper Tiger currently on Netflix, He is very sweary so not for the faint hearted but he destroys a lot of PC nonsense in that show. He's also in an interracial marriage so possibly has more insight than many of the outraged twitterati.

Ingredients: 1x Boeing 747. 1x Cadillac Limo airport transfer. 1x Harley Davidson Road King. Add petrol (gas) as needed. Method: 1) After flying from UK to Phoenix Az, swing leg over Harley Davidson Road King. 2) Ride to Anita's Cocina, Wickenburg Az. 3) Eat Tacos. Must admit this was twenty years a...

Your poll should have an option for none.
If it's not free it's not worth it to me, unless it offers something unique.
Agree.

Didn't read the rest of the thread as I'm a little tipsy, but a mower is a flippin' mower, don't care what the logo is.

Hic.

Re: Seasons 19 - do vehicles breakdown?

I'm in the construction business in the states and always wondered if carpentry and the such used measurements in inches or centimetres It's still a bit weird over here. Although we are officially a metric nation a carpenter will go into his local supplier and ask for a six foot length of "four by ...

Re: Seasons 19 - do vehicles breakdown?

I'd like the units to be converted ... and tied to the map, so that when I play a USA map I get dollars, °F and acres and bushels ... pound for UK map, Euro for the rest of Europe ... °C ... hectares ... KPH ... and so on. Love the idea, but then we'd need a special one for us Brits (I believe you ...

Re: Giants to try and get license for real cars and truck

My own two cents is that I'm not bothered about pickups/trucks/cars/lorries/semis. I personally rarely use them and would rather Giants spent their dev money on fixing things like hopeless workers, maybe the terrible traffic but most importantly lots of nice new (or used) agricultural equipment. I d...

Re: How to lose money

Well if you need to lose a lot of money quickly; Get married or, Get divorced or, Become the US Government or, Invest with Bernie Madoff. In game, when I need to dump cash, the tacked JD tree harvester is the most expensive piece to lease, so I just take a bunch of those out and return them. Still ...

Have you had a look at Washoe Nevada by AlienJim? Fields are all square or rectangular and there are some very big ones.

You also get some AlienJim genius thrown in but I won't give away any spoilers.

Re: UK Farmers - why no love for Valtra?

"they come from a country where you need a second mortgage to buy a pint " What you mean by that? Did not understand. As I understand it, a pint of beer is very expensive in Finland. A mortgage is a massive loan from a bank/building society (tens to hundreds of thousand GBP) paid over decades which...

Re: Anyone make their plots oval/circular?

↑↑ This, and "might" is the operative word! I rarely use the workers as I tend to farm small and do it all myself, but they seem to have taken a step backwards since FS17. Don't get me wrong, I've played FS19 for hundreds, maybe thousands of hours, I love it and believe it is a much better game than...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion

GmbH, Ltd, LLC, PLC are all pretty much the same I believe. It's the way a large company can limit it's liabilities to creditors should the company fail. Usually us taxpayers bear the brunt.

Mods, please feel free to delete if this is too political, I don't want to be "that" guy!
