Motor Torque and Transmission Gear Calculator
Greetings! After some serious reading and some trial and error, I put together a calculator to estimate gear ratios and torque values to input in vehicles' XML files. I've used it and it seems to work okay, but I am a total n00b when it comes to FS Modding so I was hoping to get some help testing an...

Re: Converting
Nothing I can think off. If the game is detecting those scripts, they're there somewhere.

Re: Converting
Thanks for the advice. Now, I need help finding where those scripts are. Check the xml for any references to them. For example, passenger mod looks like this: <BeifahrerScript> <Beifahrer NicknameNodeIndex="node" FarmerNode="node"> <Kamera index="node" rotatable="...

Re: Converting
Get rid of all those scripts. That truck has support for a lot of scripts that are not yet converted over to FS19. Get rid of all those lua files for now and you might be able to add those features back in later. I am working on another conversion myself and I found it easier to just remove all cust...

Re: FS19 Static Lights Flashing (Turn signals)
I hate to bump this, but I too would like to address the community with this same question, rather than just open a new thread. I have a model I am trying to convert from FS17 to FS19 and have imported one of the default lights, "sideMarker_04Orange", which is a very good representation of...

Re: Land Deformation Question
The current "fix" might be to save right before you place anything and reload if it does not do what you want. Hopefully they can get us a deform tool pretty soon. Bonus points if it's implemented with actual gameplay, i.e. shovels, excavators, and rollers.

Re: Follow Me for Platform
Do you mean for consoles? Probably not. It's a good bet that anything that didn't come to consoles with FS17 won't with FS19

Re: Reward for contract
Maybe. I find the hay bale contracts and the larger harvesting contracts have the better payout, usually. It just seems a bit harsh to suddenly have such tight returns from before. Maybe it should be a bonus if you use your own machines rather than what it is now

Re: Reward for contract
It really doesn't seem like the contracts are making up for all the investments you have to make. You can look at it as either not getting paid enough for your materials or your labor, but not getting enough either way

Re: Anyone moaning about creating a farm
I'm happy they are, but I think a lot of people might have been ok with a month or two delay of the game for it to actually be readyRasping rabbit wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 2:23 am Giants are already working on something to address this. It was mentioned by Lars on one of the live streams

I was hoping a JD Cotton harvester was coming. I like having more options for machinery and this just looked like a good opportunity. I hope we see some one day, along with actual JD implements.

Re: Maya for Modding
As far as I know they have been using Maya for quite some times now. It's not so much that they are moving to Maya, but rather that they're lowering the priority of getting other conversion tools ready. I do get what you're saying though. Just in case though, Maya has quite a lot of partnerships whe...

Re: Reward for contract
I noticed this as well. A small field contract would pay out something like $2100 with a $800 lease penalty. Using my own equipment forces me to buy a $2400 fertilizer tank, if using liquid fertilizer.
