Re: What's the number 1 map that you are playing right now?
My number one map is Bucks County PA. I just love the map, it plays really nice, good feel to it and loads of fields in all kind of shapes. Just started my second season (a little over 30 hours) with precision farming enabled. Love the ability the start really small doing contracting work and be abl...

Re: Alpine Dlc/ Elerngrat
The problem is the Buy Used Equipment mod. The problem with it however, if you delete it from you're save, you can't get it to load again. I did read somewhere in the FB group you have to sell all equipment you have bought "used" and do something in the vehicle.xml in the save game folder, but I'm ...

Re: So whos getting the new Alpine DLC?
I have it. Pre-ordered it a while ago.
Was really looking forward to it and now I'm playing it, I'm having a blast.
Build my own farm on a flat piece of grass and ready to rumble in silence with the electric tractor

Re: script idea
Sounds like a good idea, but i'm pretty sure you'll end up with some strange startup configs then. Lets say you're playing on millenium farmers map, and have as a startup a 9rx a fiat 1100d and a deutz torpedo as tractors, and a tc5 series combine with a 45ft draper, and for cultivator you get a 3 ...

Re: Installing Updates for FS19 (PC)
Go to the "Updates" page, on top of the main FS website. Click the Download button for either Windows 7 or for 8/10, depending on what Windows system you are running. If I have to guess, I would guess you have Windows 10. After download, just double click the file, it will open and click the "Farmin...

Re: Can you have too many Mods?
it's always better to only have the mods installed you are currently using.
All mods will be loaded and can start messing with your FPS

Re: House Rules - Self Imposed Limits
I'll try to keep it as real/realistic as possible. No engine upgrades, what you bought is what you have. Wheelswap is possible, but the tractor is in the shop/shed/workingplace for at least a couple of hours before it can be used with the other wheels. Maintenance is being done in the winter as ther...

Re: Any maps on par with vanilla?
I'd give Hollandscheveld a try. Yes, it's flat as a pancake, but all of The Netherlands is. Textures and all look very nice to me, a lot can be done, ie. forestry, animals. For me the map looks alive, not to much traffic, but not to little as well. Driving from the farmyard onto the road will make y...

Re: How long do you keep, use, equipment?
Most hours I got on a single tractor was a little over 20 hours. Nowadays I do not even get past 10 hours on a single map. Can't get quite into them all. In the very beginning of FS19, before the mods came out, I had a save on Ravenport with all Case tractors/harvesters. Got to a lot of them to even...

Re: La Coronella 2.0 w/Seasons
Have been playing it without seasons. Had the feeling Shabe rushed the changes a bit. A lot of open spaces where in the previous version was a building (i.e. farm house). Haven't checked the map after the update, but saw in the changelog he added a farm house. Might give it a try later on with seaso...

I mostly use the out of cab view to I can see where I'm going.
However, on the small British roads with a lot of trees, I go inside the cab because I can't see where I'm going with all the tress in front of my camera and not being able to see the road.

Re: Do you change your farming “business model” for different maps?
I like to play different on different maps as well. Trying to suite my play style with the map. TOSF: paying a small time farmer with not a lot of money, small tractors and equipment, couple dairy cows and some chickens. Trying to not go bankrupt. County Line: Trying to go as big as possible, thinki...
