Re: Equipment thoughts for FS22
Off the top of my head, I was disappointed to see the Brent Avalanche carts were left out as well as the Kinze grain carts. Love seeing the Kinze planters included though. Hopefully there will be a 60 foot air seeder included by them at some point... Would kind of stink if they didn't. Also, one obs...

Re: FS22 Seasons - Observation of Crop Calendar
It's based on where giants is located I believe Shocker. We knew this along time ago, why are you acting like this? It's a problem with American players that needs to be sorted out, not everywhere in the states is the same This says a lot more about you than it does about any American player that j...

Re: FS22 Seasons - Observation of Crop Calendar
To be fair, you can turn seasonal growth off. That way, you still get visuals of 4 seasons, but you can sow and harvest more to your liking. I'm sort of okay with this. I'm still a bit bugged that it'll be snowing during a sugarcane harvest. LOL I'm gonna give them credit where it's due. They have ...

Re: FS22 Seasons - Observation of Crop Calendar
This is exactly what I worried about with Giants giving us seasons. Without the ability to select a geo, we're all going to be stuck in the same climate no matter if you're farming in Montana or Brazil. Which is hilarious when you think about it because those two places should not have the same sea...

Re: FS22 Seasons - Observation of Crop Calendar
I can see giants doing what easiest for them, but you have a French map and an American map you should have a planting/harvesting schedule for each map. Each region is different. Also going on that, if the u.s map is in the Midwest it should have that growing region, if it is more like Texas then i...

FS22 Seasons - Observation of Crop Calendar
I noticed in the FS22 'Tutorials' page that they have a small blog on seasons in the new game. Being curious, I read through it. First thing I noticed is that in the new crop calendar, Wheat, Barley, and Canola all have to be planted in the fall now. I understand that somewhere along the line someon...

Re: Amity
Agreed to the no more 3m beet and potato equipment! Takes FOREVER. I'd be curious to learn about these Gilbertson FS19 mods as well. I have the Amity lifter and defoliator mod from the Custom Modding Group on facebook, but I'd like to take a look at the potato equipment if someone can point me in th...

Amity
Good news for the North American sugar beet farming crowd! It appears that Amity is being included in FS22. An Amity beet cart is listed under the equipment on the Farming Simulator website. Pretty happy to see this! Hopefully it leads to an Amity pull-type beet lifter and a defoliator. Also wouldn'...

Re: When will Giants make a Gleaner combine?
Guessing they probably won't. I'd have to assume that demand throughout the FS community for a Gleaner is about the same as the demand throughout the actual farming community for a Gleaner... not much. I guess that's why I only see old Gleaners parked in weeds around Ed Gein type farm houses in my ...

Re: How many semi trucks/lorries is too many for a farm?
My farm is usually surrounded around a corn and soybean rotation with occasional small grains. 3-4 semis in the fleet. Use all of them during harvest. During spring work one is on the liquid fert. trailer, one is one the lowboy, one is on the seed tender, and one is hauling grain.

Re: Map recommendations
If you like the looks of Dahl and Griffin Indiana, I think you'd enjoy Flint Hills. It's a 4x, not a 16, but it's pretty wide open with a few nice custom farm yard options. Great attention to detail on this map too as well as excellent custom crop and soil textures.
