Maybe your storage is already full? The capacity should be 20,000 liters of stuff.
I had same problem as you said and I noticed how storage is full, so it cannot take more things.
Below it is written which materials are needed and as they are slowly consumed, the storage is also emptied.

As far as I understand, containers with wood can only be sold in "container warehouse" so you will sold both in same time. I think you can't transport it to some production building.

It will be, but focus are on forest.

I am glad that the platinum expansion for the forest will come. Especially the new forest machines that look incredibly detailed and that's what I wanted to see in FS, that's what was missing to fill out the forest part of the game.

I am happy that this year too the program is going live, so everyone can see what's new in FS and what the changes are. Last year live looked really good and professional so I’m looking forward to this time too.
