Now i have not had this issue before, but I am using logitech g28 and a joystick and whenever I have something attached to a vehicle, IE trailer it wont let me exit the vehicle using the keyboard binding, however when its not attached I can.

You cant physically map LT + X in the game, that would have to be done via the XML manually if you know how to. Its a key bind issue, delete all keybinds under gamepad that are not nessecery, and add the ones that are, there is a bug that wont allow you to add combined keys to a function which they know about. EDIT: Although not an exact match from the HUD to the vehicle, but it does seem that the vehicles are showing KPH and not MPH which is why it is different.

Fixed it by doing WindowsKey + R, then typing joy.cpl, click on your steering wheel from the list and click Properties -> Settings -> Check the Enable Centering Spring Box and turn the slider down to something like 15%, then close out.
