The "slow speed" you're mentioning is the speed when the AI driver detects a trigger. There's a bug (or was) where even after clearing the trigger area, it maintains the slow speed. I also have an adaptive sync monitor and I've enabled the feature in the Nvidia control panel.

It's something I've often thought about myself; if I ran GIANTS how would I approach various things, and one of those was thinking of a viable yet fair system permitting (or not) mod edits and collaborations and granting access rights, though my main reason for that thought process was cutting back...

In terms of a general gaming experience with FS there will always be a gap though because all the great mods that require scrips and the use of a keyboard, course play, follow me etc, will never come to console. At least not in their current form. Then there's the issue of non licensed vehicle mods...

If you're using the REA mod (on PC) the effect are very obvious.
On vanilla I think there's an advantage to wider/more wheels, but not so prominent.

no was just using the workers for unloading and getting them to go to the silo as usual, and the combine is on fs helper mode. You need to have both combine and unloader controlled by CP. There's a video guide on the github page, if you haven't already watched that. CP can only find harvesters now ...
