I did some more investigating and managed to find the problem. It is a map conflict. Autodrive uses the map title for its file naming, but looks like it cant handle the apostrophe in the map tile. What map are you playing on? Is it no mans land per chance as I have the same problem on that map.

I think it could be a map conflict as tried starting a new game with only autodrive in mod folder (nothing else in folder at all) but still had the issue.

The trigger is on the road between the two buildings (‘stables’ building & bale sell point) at the horse pasture. Just be careful when using a straw blower to blow the straw towards the stables building and not towards the bale sell point building on the other side.

I've had similar in the past. Only way i managed to get rid of the silage was to use the landscaping tool over the silage to 'reset' the ground - either by painting a texture or use the 'smoothing' function.

Its pretty much 'all or nothing', although i think you can turn crop moisture on/off (and snow on/off) in the in-game settings menu

I guess we wont know for sure until launch, but FS18 on iOS works with a controller so could be reasonable to assume FS20 will too

Not quite the way you're after, but in meantime easiest way might be to create field, then use the landscaping tool (on square) to go round the edges and paint grass to straighten the edges out?

Only a few fields are "AI enabled" and available for contracts on Oakfield - this was how the map creator configured it so as to avoid performance issues.

You don’t need to download the mods from giants website.

Just use the in game modhub on the opening menu (which has all the same mods) and it’ll install the mods for you.
