Re: Strawme prices?
Yield per Hectare shouldn't really effect it, as again StrawMe doesn't calaculate anything like that and just uses set values for the windrow amount of each new straw type per square metre. The prices going up and down over days is just the normal fluctuation all prices get that don't have the disab...

Re: Strawme prices?
Looking at the script of the StrawMe mod it does a calculation to set the price of each straw type the first time it is loaded on a save game. The code seems to be PriceStraw*3 which suggests to me it's taking the maps base price of straw and then multiplying that by 3 and applying that value to the...

Re: Mod folder
What do you label the different folders, so they show up in game correctly? I have one folder labelled "Original Mod Downloads" which is where every mod, every version of a mod gets placed when downloaded, these are the raw/base/unedited version of every mod I have ever downloaded for FS19. This or...

Re: Mod folder
Like I said people who use the exact same mods across the board on multiple saves, can do so by placing those mods into the PDLC Folder so they'll always be loaded when the game is launched and available to select on the mod screen prior to starting/loading a save and therefore you only require one ...

Re: Mod folder
Right, but since fs19 changed how mods are loaded, only the map that is being played is loaded and the mods. There are people that like to use lots of different equipment for their maps. So, the downside to have multiple mod folders is the duplicating of mods and storage space. That's not accurate ...

Re: John Deere X9 combines
I today strapped one of the Midwest Durus 60 foot Headers to the X9 today to test how the machine would cope. I'm very pleased that it handled it brilliant and was able to quickly eat it's way through the fields. I think that's going to now be my go to combine for a while, due in part to excellent c...

Re: Plow, lime and weeds. Are they active in your game?
Plow and Lime Yes, always have those enabled. Weeds, no I normally always disable them if playing the vanilla/base game because the way they are implemented, the way they blanket cover the whole map and cover zig zags its way down the map like that old snake game from nokia phones from the 90s is ri...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Nice to see SiiD Modding has had his X9 Harvester release today on the ModHub. Been using this since just before Christmas when he dropped it on his Facebook page during the whole "Modders getting banned for 3D Tracks" drama. Obviously the full release version has more configuration options and a co...

Re: Precision farming.
I'd maybe take a guess at next week, as they are releasing a new DLC, and usually that means on consoles they get a game patch/update as well, which will probably included some changes Giants need to make for the recent Precision Farming update to then be deployed on Consoles.

Re: Straw Me
Sadly not. It's one aspect of Straw Me I would love to see the mod maker expand on and find a way within their script to have the the new straw types integrate into the rest of the game a bit more. Right now the new straw is only good for being sold. So would be nice if the mod maker could find a wa...

Re: Logitech heavy equipment bundle - is it really that bad?
The big issue with the Logitech Heavy Equipment Bundle is there is nothing at all 'Heavy' about it. Very cheap construction using the cheapest plastics and switches and components. It definitely looks and feels more like a toddler's toy then a Gamer and Sim Enthusiast Product. I think if Logitech ac...

Re: The slot count on millennial farms map is a joke
No the map is out on the ModHub but at the moment it's only available for Consoles, the PC versions gets submitted for testing next week. However it seems Console Players are a little unhappy that the map in New Farmer with all the buildings, animal pens and equipment is running in at 1200 slots.

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Anyone know if the Lely the released can have the bales autoloaded? From the mod description: 0.49 x 0.36 x 1.2m high density bales and a second with a loading chute which produces 0.49 x 0.36 x 0.8m high density bales. So I'm guessing these are two completely new bale sizes custom to this mod, whi...

Re: Mods In Testing - Fan Discussion
Thanks for that update Subbie, guess I'll be doing my map review video next week then instead of today. I don't fancy dusting off my PS4 and my Elgato and spending all the time setting that up to make one video. Unless I can get Remote Play working on my PC and do it that way.
