Re: Graphics Card

I have an Intel 520 on my laptop and it runs the game, it's not really too bad as long as I keep image quality to the minimum settings, but when I run it on my desktop with a RX580 (not the greatest graphics card), it makes my laptop look like garbage. I'm guessing it would work, set your resolution...

Re: What can I connect to the back of a forage harvester?

I have hooked up a pair of max capacity Fliegl trailers from the mod pack ( https://farming-simulator.com/mod.php?lang=en&country=us&mod_id=120681&title=fs2019 ). That works but still fill up pretty fast even at 18,600 each. I tried 3 since the pipe should easily be able to shoot that far (got the l...

Re: silage bales

I planted a grass field and in its first growth stage it sprouted weeds, I weeded most of the field but didn’t catch in time and part of the field got to 2nd growth before I finished so I put away the weeder and got the herbicide sprayer but would not kill the remaining weeds. After cutting the weed...

Re: Repair question

I don't bother repairing weights as I can't imagine what impact they could possibly have in real life or game if they are worn. As for buckets, in real life those need to be maintained as they get worn when scraped along the ground, and bushings, sheaves, etc. all get worn and would not work as well...

Re: Horse trainer mod?

I'd like to see a mod for horse training, but it should cost something like a daily wage to the trainer based on the number of horses he/she is training. as long as that is part of the equation I think it would be great and I would use it. I've reserved a place on my farm for a horse pen to get some...

Re: No/less collisions mod for console

I'm all in favor of this. Having said that I think that the collision perimeter is related to the amount of space that is required to slope the ground should you chose to double the cost of your placeable by placing it higher or lower. I'm not exactly sure how to work that out while making the game ...

Re: Future Speculation DLC/Wishlist

For me it's orchards - fruits, nuts, whatever. I think it would be a neat addition to the game and some unique equipment we haven't seen in game before.

Re: Cotton dlc idea

I like the idea of adding options to make cotton more accessible to players without investing their fortunes (like I did). I would rather see these as modhub additions from Giants, but I would probably pay for a cotton DLC if needed as long as it wasn't too expensive. Maybe they could throw in some ...

Re: Cotton bale moving

It's cotton harvesting season right now down here in AZ and I have been watching the cotton fields as I drive by them. I have made three observations over the last month or so as they have been getting harvested: 1. They are producing a lot more cotton modules than a field in FS19 produces. I was th...

Re: Yield Question

I posted a spreadsheet calculator based on some testing I did on this post: https://forum.giants-software.com/viewtopic.php?f=963&t=138755 Down the list a bit theSeb posted a a cut from the game script that shows yields for each crop type (rendering my entire test nearly pointless). Someone also mad...

Re: Crop Yields

All you need to do is print out the fruit types tables in the game to see the exact yield per crop values. Now you can do all calculations that you could ever want. In terms of square metres and acres... 1 acre = 4046.85642 sqm growthstatetime is in milliseconds (normal growth speed) and how long i...

It may be worth comparing to the results here: https://www.reddit.com/r/farmingsimulator/comments/9zlszg/fs_19_yield_profit_analysis/?utm_source=reddit-android Would be interesting to compare and contrast the results and conclusions for verification. I searched for this info several times before I ...

Re: Crop Yields

That is a big effort bud. Well done! Personally, I go for a different approach because as you have mentioned there are SO many variables with this. One for example is distance from the field to the (averagely) best sell point (or in some materials, the only sell point). So fuel costs, wear and tear...
