I think a reasonable approach for used vehicles would be to increase the fuel usage rate and the daily maintenance cost compared to new vehicles. I don't know anything about modding, but would it be possible to mark/tag used implements so they consume 150% of the daily rate for maintenance and 125% ...

There is no direkt way to change the rental cost alone. They are fixed to the final buying price of the machine. base = 2% hourly = 2.1% daily = 1% I'm not aware of a mod changing only the rental costs. So you need to increase the price of the equipment. mod request - tool presets for regular positions

I'm looking for a mod that moves attachments to a default position via hotkey. For example, push a key and pallet forks return to correct height to pick up another pallet at ground level.

I would like to buy animals at younger ages and raise them to maturity, with prices changing over time. Buying generic animals at one price and selling at a reduced price just seems bad business. Another useful addition would be buying different kinds of cattle, to include dairy cows and beef cattle...

I added some new info above.

Alt-tabbed out and had normal inputs. Changing speed didn't make any difference with this iteration of the problem. I was able to interact intermittently with the mouse.

For baling, you have to do all the tasks - mow/bale/deliver/etc until the completion message appears. For fertilizing, there's a little tolerance built into the contract: 90-95% coverage is typically enough to trigger completion. This has happened with one older keyboard and then with a brand new keyboard, so I do not believe any key is stuck. I did shake the keyboard the first time to see if there was dust or anything involved, with no result.

I will try to tab out and try 7/8 as well.
